Year after year, the independent wrestling scene has taken advantage of the large crowds that gather for WrestleMania by running shows in the general area. In this week's episode, we take a deeper look into the announcement of Kurt Angle's WrestleMania Retirement Match opponent, which happens to be Baron Corbin. We first discuss if we feel this is the right decision, what can make it better, and if we feel like this match will be the match that happens at WrestleMania. Continuing with this theme, we look at the part-time wrestlers of the WWE, as well as some aging veterans, and decide who we feel is the ideal opponent for them in a retirement match at WrestleMania. We will give you one little preview in that we both decided Corbin was NOT one for Angle. And we say both because Peach is once again not here.

In this week's episode, we branch off a conference call where TalkSport asked Roman Reigns about the potential of an off-season in the WWE. Reigns mentioned that he would never be opposed to trying something new and how it would give performers another couple of months to rest and recover, physically and creatively. We decided to debate if this could work in wrestling and used the WWE as our example of focus because of its model of running several shows that they hold in a week, all year round. We look at how this would affect wrestlers, fans, the networks that broadcast the shows, and if it would even matter to any other wrestling company.

We decided to look at the wrestlers we would enjoy seeing a biopic of eventually and which actors we would like to play those roles. Who would you choose to play Roman Reigns? How about John Cena? Who could deliver the pipebomb correctly in a movie about CM Punk? And who would be able to handle the role of being Vincent Kennedy McMahon? Yet another episode without Peach (it was our fault this time, we forgot to tell him the new day for recording). And without him, we take turns looking at the championships in WWE and guess who we see being the champion and competing for that title on "The Grandest Stage of Them All." Since we recorded on a Wednesday this week, we cheated a little bit by seeing what happened on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live that may have given us hints, but we still tried to look at how we would personally have WWE get to the matches we predicted.
