  • Break Out of Second Thoughts Jail

What is your life was "yes, and..." more and "no, but..." a whole lot less? Imagine having a flash of inspiration that you fan into a flame instead of throwing cold water on it. That's the power of embracing the possibility of your first thought and breaking out of the limiting belief of those dastardly second thoughts.

    1. Allow yourself to receive joy unconditionally and without limit
  • Trust that your first thought is always aligned with your purpose and soul led
  • What dreams can you bring out of the attic and unbox if you let go of your second thoughts?
  • Release your attachment to molding your career according to someone else's needs while neglecting your growth edge.
  • It's a false choice that you have to choose between what brings you joy and what will serve others. Look for what's possible and take a stand for the "and."
  • Stay Inspired,

    Angela

  • Unplug the Energy Vampires Draining Your Career

Trying to do too much? Saying yes when you'd rather peace out? All those obligations are sucking away your energy. That doesn't leave much for pursuing the career you really want, not the one you think you have to have. Listen in to learn how to cut the power supply to your energy drains.

    1. Find your passion to get clarity about what opportunities are aligned with you and which are not.
  • Find your energy leaks and unplug from them so your bandwidth isn't overloaded.
  • Your career has seasons. Sometimes, you need to give out a lot of energy, but sometimes you need to pull back and use your energy to regenerate yourself.
  • If some energy vampires feel hard to disconnect, ask "What if?" a different scenario could be possible.
  • Opportunities are neither good or bad- they are good or bad for you at the moment. Discern what is in alignment and don't feel obligated to say yes to anything else.
  • Stay Inspired,

    Angela

  • Anger Management: Interview with James Clemmons

Rather than cloaking anger in shame and blame, anger management expert James Clemmons shares strategies to unhook the fight or flight response, unpack what's really going on, and focus on what you can control.

    1. Hear the entire 60 minute interview with James here.
  • Focus on what you can control - you.
  • Avoid situations that you know lead to you feeling angry.
  • Take time to decompress and do things that make you feel good.
  • Pay attention to how anger feels in your body. When you can recognize the signs of early onset, you can take steps to turn off the anger response sooner.
  • Be cautious of seeing a situation in "absolutes." Notice when you use triggered language like always, never, should, or must.
  • Stay Inspired,

  • Finding Your Growth Edge

Your growth edge is kind of like cooking a meal. Use all four burners on the cooktop, or you'll get bored and stagnant from the one pot meal. But make every pot a challenging dish, and you'll burn out (literally). Listen in to learn how to balance a mix of easy and challenging, long and short projects to stay on the edge without going over.

    1. Place yourself in situations and around people who will stretch you to think beyond the limits of what you thought was possible.
  • Make time to integrate new information and savor the wins.
  • Hold the space you need in your day to keep things on a pace that lets you be creative
  • If you are spending more time on busy work than growth opportunities, you're losing your creative edge.
  • Stay Inspired,

  • Getting Bad Advice? Maybe You’re Asking the Wrong Questions

Ever get advice that doesn't resonate- so you ask someone else, and someone else, and someone else? You're having this experience because you don't have clarity on what you really want, so you're only focusing on what's wrong. Fixing a problem with another person or situation is always an inside job first.

    1. The feeling of conflict is a sign that there is an integrity gap between your experience and your authentic self.
  • Trying to get resolution to this conflict by asking for advice is like auditioning for a role you don’t want. No matter how good the advice, you won’t really want to take action because you don’t really feel aligned with the outcome.
  • Great advice might not be great advice for you. The truth has to come from you.
  • You can’t have a courageous conversation with someone unless you are first honest with yourself about why you feel conflicted.
  • Focusing on how you were wronged or what you want to change about someone else’s behavior creates more conflict and a duality instead of integrity.
  • Stay Inspired,

    Angela

  • You don’t have to Breakdown to Breakthrough

We need to get overwhelm, stress, and burnout off of our daily playlist. Not only is this state of being blocking our ability to live a life we love, it's making us sick.

    1. You can handle stress in a more healthy way when you have the resources to cope. This is why regenerative time is so critical.
  • A fully resourced you can do more better in less time (and savor the experience).
  • You never have to wait for the breakdown to have a breakthough.
  • Ask for and expect miracles
  • You never have to prove your worth to get the resources you need.
  • Stay Inspired,

  • Monstrous: Horrifying Ways We Internalize Criticism

What conjures up the most fear in the workplace?  Being seen as vulnerable. Criticism can be a devastating monster when it echoes our own insecurities. Unmasking self doubt allows us to see the patterns, learn the lessons and know when to walk away because we don't need to be a character in someone else's nightmare.

    1. Fear is the lowest level emotion (truly the opposite of love). It shuts down our expansion and keeps us stuck.
  • Our inner critic wants to assign villain roles to others. Never assume you know someone else's motivations.
  • Embrace the fact that you're not for everyone. Don't get ensnared by needing to please other people.
  • Take of the mask and act authentically and with integrity. Move on from those who that makes uncomfortable.
  • Stay Inspired,

  • Taming the Chaos: Redefining Productivity in a Disrupted World

Hey you- stress puppy! It's time to embrace the disruption of post-pandemic life. Yup, that chaos you keep complaining about is only happening because you are resisting the new freedom you have. Listen in to learn how to redefine productivity to include plenty of time for regeneration of body mind and spirit.

    1. Disruptions are opportunities. What can you question about your traditional understanding of life and work?
  • Being able to connect anytime anywhere allows us to bend space and time in our favor when we stop letting other people hijack our schedule.
  • Leverage resources- who else can do this? Look for opportunities to delegate or hire out.
  • Say yes to more of what regenerates you and prioritize that in your day.
  • Reconstruct and redefine what an ideal day could look like for you if you free yourself from obligations.
  • Always ask whether what you are doing is the highest and best use of your time.

  • Are You a Head Nodder or an Action Taker?

Maybe it's because you agree, maybe it's just making nice. Either way, nodding your head is a far cry from taking action. This episode explores the gap between knowing you want to change and taking change making action.

    1. Grace, ease, and joy are your factory setpoints. It's time to make feeling that way a priority again.
  • There is no lack, therefore there is no limit to your abundance. Competing for resources is a disempowering illusion.
  • The path between understanding something and embracing it is taking action.
  • Turn off the inner wicked stepmother who tries to regulate how much grace, ease, and joy you allow yourself to experience.
  • Don't let your busyness keep your success in the future.
  • Self care is service to others.

  • Worth the Fight? When to be a Warrior

You might be down for the struggle, but maybe you don't have to be. Opposition takes a lot of energy and political capital. Listen in to know when you're squandering your bandwidth on a no-win situation and when the fight is worth it.

    1. The cause worth fighting for is the one that's bigger than you. If there isn't a higher purpose or greater good involved, don't engage.
  • Allocate your energy positively (and get waaay more powerful results) by focusing on what you do want, not what you don't.
  • Discern between doing what's right and righteousness. Righteousness is about fear of losing control or way of understanding the world challenged.
  • Consider why you need to "win" or be right. Let other people have their opinions and shortcomings. It's not your job to convince them of anything.
  • Need more help? Consider 1 to 1 coaching with me. Book a free discovery call with me today by clicking here.
