When we as entrepreneurs finally understand how we can create momentum, things shift in our lives for the better. In this episode, we’re going to walk through an important exercise I call the Momentum Equation. I’m going to share with you the framework and questions that work universally to create success and identify clear patterns of growth. Simply by thinking of periods of momentum in your life and answering three questions, you can revisit the momentum in your past, apply those lessons in your life today, and get back into momentum to make things happen. If you’re listening to this on the go, take mental notes. But by the end of the day, I ask that you sit down and write out the answers for this exercise. Because physically writing things out and visually seeing them is proven to be more effective. Tune in as I share with you an example of a period of momentum in my life, and reveal the framework for the Momentum Equation. If you’ve built a team and you’re starting to develop a leadership team, this podcast is one you need to hear. In this episode, I share with you the most productive way to run a business and things you should work towards if you want to create a culture of winning. My team and I have had what I’m about to share with you set in place for a while, but this past week we reiterated it...I’m not able to change things in the business, and there’s a good reason why. I can’t change my team’s priorities, projects, deadlines, or outcome in any way - unless it’s a real emergency. And for me to step in at an emergency level, things have to be pretty bad. If that happens, I regroup with my leadership team, and we will shift priorities. But otherwise, I’m hands-off, and that’s the way it should be for a CEO. Because in most businesses, the team is fighting with the entrepreneur for their time and focus. The problem is, in entrepreneurial companies, the focus usually shifts so often that no one can keep track of where the business is going or what they should be doing. This leads to the two biggest complaints I hear - there’s a lack of communication, and the team doesn’t know what’s going on. Tune in to hear why our business and the businesses we coach run differently than 99% of companies out there, and how yours can too. Resources mentioned: Billionairecode.com
My favorite podcasts to record are the ones where we feature our clients. Needless to say, today’s episode is no exception. I’m so excited to share with you this podcast I recorded with Heather Wright and one of our Coaches, Deanna. A little background… Heather was the first member of our newest coaching program, Catalyst. In this episode, you will get the chance to meet her, hear about her business, and the progress she’s made in just six weeks. Get ready, Heather has an incredibly funny personality and made this episode a ton of fun. Before joining our tribe, Heather really wanted to grow her business in a way that would provide passive income. She kept searching for that magic pill or solution that would get her results fast. After trying multiple “pills” and looking high and low for that quick fix, Heather came across our content. It was the opposite of everything she had ever heard, but it made her stop and think. Just maybe, our approach was exactly what she needed… Fast forward to 6 weeks later in the program - Heather has already had a massive breakthrough. She realized there isn’t a quick solution, and that she needs to put the time, work, processes, and systems into her business to grow. She is now more organized, reduced her shiny object syndrome, has clear goals, and a crystal clear plan on where she should be spending her time on. When I was a kid, my mom had this saying when something challenging happened - everything happens for a reason, let’s find the reason. When I was younger, I fought it. But as an adult, this saying has proven true. Regardless of what’s happened in my life, everything has happened for a reason. In this episode, I share with you a few examples of challenges I’ve faced and what reasons I’ve found for them. We talk about everything from my bankruptcy to a panic attack at an old job. I also share a recent story that brought me to tears talking about it again. No matter the size of the challenge, there’s an underlying reason or lesson in there somewhere. Sometimes we know the reason right away, and sometimes we won’t realize it until years later. But trust me, there’s always one there. It’s up to find the reason or accept that it’s true. Tune in - this episode is a good one. If you’re ready to grow your business and move forward quickly, reach out to us at https://billionairecode.com/apply-now.
You read the title right; I’m back. You’ve probably noticed that in the last five weeks, I haven’t recorded a single podcast episode. If you don’t follow me on social media or subscribe to our emails, you probably don’t know this, but just recently I took over three weeks off from work. If you’re wondering why here it is...I needed time and space to process after my mom, and good friend Sean Stephenson passed away. After a big realization, I stepped out of my business and took time off social media. In such a short few weeks, I learned a ton, and I’m finally ready to share my experience with you. Man, it feels so good to be back, but I have to admit it’s been hard to pick up the mic and record. In this episode, I want to share with you why you haven’t heard from me directly and what’s been going on in my life. After the passing of my mom, I had two weeks of work scheduled that I had to push through. Shortly after, I noticed I was reacting and regressing in ways I haven’t in a long time. Listen in as I get real and vulnerable with you on my experience with grief, loss, and what my time off taught me. I share this at the end of the episode, but I thought it was important to put in the show notes too...Every day we have an opportunity, and each day is a gift. Please never forget that.

In the next few episodes, we’re going to share with you a special panel my wife, Cadey, and I did at our most recent mastermind. We break down the processes we’ve built into our marriage that have allowed us to continue growing together as we grow our business. If you want to hear the steps on how we make our relationship work at a high level while continuing to change the world, listen in. You know, most entrepreneurs go all-in on business and expect their relationships to take care of themselves. The problem is, they won’t. They need just as much attention - if not more - than you put into your business. Cadey and I have discovered that there are business principles and strategies you can put into a relationship to make it easier. Yes, they can go hand in hand. Tune in as we share how you can apply these successfully, eliminate communication and money arguments, and create an alignment process that will change everything.
