  • 580 - Survive Q4 With a Team

Growing a business, building a team, and getting people to work together isn’t easy. While these things are hard enough on their own, they are infinitely more difficult when you get thrown a curveball. In my experience, the biggest challenges and speed bumps come around the fourth quarter. In fact, the fourth quarter of every year is like a minefield for entrepreneurs. If you have a team and you don’t anticipate or prepare for this time of year, you’re going to start seeing behaviors on your team that don't really make sense. You will notice some team members missing things, breaking down, becoming more reactive, and withdrawing. This episode is all about understanding where these behaviors come from, and how you can not only survive, but stay in momentum during the fourth quarter with your team. • 579 - An Interview with Dr. Nancy Miggins

There are a lot of ways to create success in the world today, but there’s one way that’s often overlooked and undervalued - drinking water. You don’t realize how much resistance and constraint you are experiencing from dehydration until you are hydrated. As I often say, water is a gateway drug to success. To show you just how life-changing being hydrated can be, I invited Dr. Nancy Miggins on the podcast. She’s going to share insights with you on drinking water and how our free Natural Thirst Challenge completely transformed her life. Dr. Nancy Miggins started drinking more water, and it helped her to become who she really wanted to be. If you’re considering taking the challenge, follow her advice - “Do it and don’t wait.” Resources mentioned: Take The Natural Thirst Challenge - http://getthirstynow.com/. • 578 - Consistency Scales

There’s a massive difference between what actually grows businesses and what most people sell and market to entrepreneurs. If you’re lucky, over the top promotions may generate success for you in the short term, but it doesn’t create sustainable growth. The fact is, consistency over time scales a business, and it’s about the only thing that does. With so many entrepreneurs being misled and going in the wrong direction today, this is a topic I’m passionate about and felt compelled to deliver the truth on. Tune in to hear how you can become more consistent as a leader with your team, and in your business. Once you master this, everything will change, and you will start to scale at the rate you’ve always wanted. If you’re ready to become more consistent so you can scale your business, reach out to us. • 577 - Nearly Bankrupt to Booming with Marley Baird Pt. 2

The podcast episode I did a few months ago with our client, Marley Baird, turned out to be the most sought after and high-performing episode we've had in the last six months. As promised, Marley came back on the show for part 2 of that episode to give us an update. We dive into what's happened in her business and with her team since we last spoke, and reveal if she ended up going bankrupt or if she made it through. Also, make sure to listen until the very end so you hear Marley's special announcement. I'll give you a hint, the opportunity she has coming up is something almost every entrepreneur dreams about. • 576 - The Charfen Process

In this episode, I’m going to share with you the strategies we teach entrepreneurs to achieve massive growth. Entrepreneurs from all over the world have applied our concepts and grown their business like crazy. Our systems work, and there’s a reason. We show them exactly how to grow their business through our simple 5 step framework called The Charfen Process. This episode is a must-hear for CEOs. Because as a CEO, when you go through a process like this, you start to build more trust with your team. When they see you follow a process over and over again that get’s a consistent result, you actually appear and become a better CEO. Our process has changed people’s businesses, but what we’re most proud of is this process changing people’s lives. The people we have worked with have come back to us and said by using this consistent process, their personal lives have gotten better, their health has improved, and their relationships have improved. As the entrepreneur in charge, when you have a clear process that works over and over again, and you begin to trust it, it makes everything in your life easier. • 575 - Caution: One on One

As many of you know, I used to be a one on one consultant for over a decade. With that said, today’s podcast topic is going to be one that will seem very surprising coming from me. I want to talk about why one on one coaching or consulting may not be your best option, and how it may end up hurting you rather than helping you. If you are currently working with someone one on one or plan to in the near future, listen to this episode first and then proceed with caution. In most cases, working one to one is not as beneficial as working with a consultant who has built out their systems with a team. One to one consultants usually have a lack of systems, documentation, and processes with no built out structure. Even though you feel like you’re getting all of their attention and a personalized delivery, this isn’t usually the case. What you are often getting is a much slower and tedious delivery, rather than one that’s fast and all at once. One to one consulting seems like the easiest and most valuable choice, but it’s the most dangerous way to move towards an outcome. If you want real results and fast, you need a consultant who has systems and a team. You will receive the outcome they have created with their team through processes, documentation, structure, and a platform you can rely on. Resource mentioned: http://predictablebusinesssystems.com/

  • 574 - Stop Chasing Transformation

Entrepreneurs are addicted to transformation. There’s that burning desire in us to grow, evolve, do more, and achieve more. The problem is, our hope for change leads us to chase transformation rather than chasing an outcome. As entrepreneurs, we need to know where we are going. We need a plan in place with clear expectations. Otherwise, we are unconsciously consuming, and that becomes the activity we focus on. But when we chase outcomes rather than transformation, everything in our lives change. We get into momentum, and that’s when we truly transform. • 573 - Consulting Malpractice

In this episode, we’re going to discuss consulting malpractice and just how damaging it can be. But before we dive in further, I want to forewarn you that this topic is a massive trigger for me. Far too many consultants give bad advice, experiment on successful organizations, have absolutely no track record, and really no business consulting entrepreneurs in the first place. I share a story in this episode that, unfortunately, isn’t uncommon. Consulting malpractice happens all the time, and it’s up to you to protect your business against it. Before even considering getting help from a consultant, make sure the service they provide is actually something your company needs, they know what they are doing, and you check their track record. Even after going through those filters, make certain that you have the time, effort, and energy to commit to the outcome you are working towards. Listen in as I share with you how to defend your business, so you don’t become a victim of consulting malpractice. • 572 - Passenger Status

As promised in last week’s episode, in this podcast, I want to discuss becoming a passenger in your business. When I was at Taki Moore’s event this past week, I was in a room full of million-dollar+ coaches, and I shared with them the goal we have for our clients - to get them to passenger status. Since this group had a ton of questions and took such an interest in the topic, I knew it was time to revisit it on our podcast. Let’s be real, visionary entrepreneurs are not great at running meetings and really shouldn’t be the one conducting them to begin with. At one point in our business, we didn’t have a choice but to run them and do everything ourselves. But once we get to the place where we have a team, and maybe you are there now, it’s time to take a step back and become a passenger. My goal for you and any client we work with is to get out of the tactical seat and into the strategic one. Remember, the captain of the ship doesn’t sit at the steering wheel...and as the CEO of your company, you shouldn’t either. Once you get yourself into passenger status, everything becomes easier, and you will experience momentum like never before. Listen in as I share with you how to become a passenger in your business, so you can step into the strategic role you should be in. If you want help getting to passenger status fast, reach out to us at http://predictablebusinesssystems.com/.

  • 571 - Trust Creates Scale

I just wrapped up another event with Taki Moore in Southern California. I had the privilege to speak to his higher-level board room this week, and I want to share with you all the same message I shared with them - that trust creates scale. One of the fastest ways to grow your business is to build trust with your team, and in this episode, I share with you exactly how. When entrepreneurs get to the point in their business where the success they can create alone is no longer enough, that’s when they need a team. Because with a team, we can create a bigger impact, more significant outcomes, and go out and make things really happen for our business. It’s hard to do, but when we admit we need help, we can start building a team and trust with them to scale. Tune in as I share with you the three places you must focus on to create trust within your entire organization. Get ready to show up in a way that will establish not only trust but also massive growth in your business.
