Elena Chiavi and Amy Perkins are both members of ANNEXE, a collective of four architects formed in 2021 with Kathrin Füglister and Myriam Uzor. The association brings together architects to work on projects with feminist concerns. They curated the Swiss pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale and chose to highlight the architect Lisbeth Sachs, in a place where none of the 30 permanent pavilions were designed by women.
