The vast, vast majority of Catholics and Muslims are nominal "believers." But what about Protestants and Evangelicals? What is the difference between a nominal believer and a real believer who actually believes what he says he believes—or the fundamental propositions of a particular faith? We discuss what the average everyday Catholic, Muslim, and Protestant believes these days—agnosticism, deism, keeping "god" happy with a little church attendance . . . maybe.
