Are you an energy-first company?

In this week's episode of Shift the Field TV, I delve into what it means to be an energy-first company like Sourced. Through my years of experience, I have learned that as a coach, when bringing on a new client, the first matter that needs to be assessed and addressed is their energy.

How are they BEING energetically? And how might your energy conflict with what you want to create? Does it align with their business goals? Once their energy is aligned, we can co-create a strategy, offerings, and marketing of their services. However, if that energy-first stage is skipped, it can be to your detriment and the detriment of your future clients.

I have encountered clients who successfully brought in new clients but skipped that energy-first step and would inevitably run into problems. They would be stressed with a heavy weight on their shoulders because they weren't sure they could be effective.

The reason is that their client's goals are inaccessible because their energy is mismatched for the strategy. They will return to you with feedback such as "I'm doing everything you told me to, and nothing is working."

For example, I had a marketing client with a "done for you" company, meaning she was hired to do the social media - go! But the energy wasn't aligned. Having a social media presence is hard when you are avoiding being visible. The energy must be addressed first! Then, you can tackle strategy.

Here are my questions: As a transformational service provider, are you first talking about your client's energy? Do you own and overtly use your magic? And finally, are you charging for it?
