On today’s episode Sarah sits down with two-term Senator Sandy Senn of District 41 to discuss how she and 5 other women in the Senate came together (across party lines!) to stop South Carolina from passing a total abortion ban. As we know Sarah has been to the statehouse to speak on this issue and Sandy offers fascinating insight into the process of law-making and what she and her female colleagues had to do to protect women’s rights in South Carolina. Senator Sean is a republican Senator but her story shows just how important it is for us to come together as women and preserve women’s rights in our state and beyond.
