Marco: Tom Araya nació en la ciudad de Viña del Mar, en Chile. Nació el 6 de junio de 1961. Chile es su país natal, pero luego se fue a Estados Unidos.

Entrevistadora: ¿A qué edad se mudó a los Estados Unidos?

Marco: Se mudó a los Estados Unidos a los cinco años, en 1966. Se fue a la ciudad de South Gate, California.

Entrevistadora: ¿Qué instrumento toca?

Marco: Toca el bajo.

Entrevistadora: ¿A qué edad tuvo su primer bajo?

Marco: Él tuvo su primer bajo a los ocho años. A esa edad comenzó a tocar el instrumento con canciones de los Beatles y Rolling Stones.
