Manifest your voice and look for inspiration from everywhere. Recently I was inspired by my child who said just enough to get me going on what I needed to do. You too can find that when you put the energy out there to gain a voice for something that needs to be spoken, your truth and your will, that comes up for you at just the right time. Don’t ignore the signs, don’t brush them off and do speak up and speak out in the most empowered way. You’re investing in yourself to get heard and to encourage. Enjoy!

It’s Armenian Independence Day and also mine!! Five years ago I became an independent empowered Armenian women. Taking control of our choices and decisions to become a better version of ourselves is never a bad thing. Keep striving for a better version of you and don’t settle for anything less. Why do we have 50 ways to say you’re fat but not the same or more to say your healthy and fit? We have a way about us, especially the old Armenian aunties that can uplift or drop us in a heart beat. Let’s make the most of our words and choose kindness over back handed compliments and flat out insults. Let’s choose to say something good about eachother!

It’s kind of interesting how I started this podcast out on a Sunday and on Monday our world was rocked by the Supreme Court leaked opinion on a woman’s right to choose. This podcast isn’t really about that, but I don’t think there are coincidences in the world. This podcast was certainly meant to be in the energies this week. My grandparents who survived the Armenian genocide were courageous to have gone through that chaos. So grateful to them for being here today and to be able to continue the courageous journey throughout my life. Never forget where you come from and what you’re made of. 🇦🇲

In this episode we unpack a lot of issues with regard to how women are encouraged, uplifted and celebrated in the Armenian community. The fact of the matter is we do more to endorse the same folks all the time and if you don’t know or aren’t related to them, you’re out of luck! It’s time to diversify. Also up for discussion today is how we need to put the Armenian women first in the April 24th protest for justice marches everywhere! We brought these important people who you promote so well repetitiously, so we can honor the mothers but putting them in the box seats too! After all it’s well known that women and children were the ones who suffered on the deportation caravans and we should be honored as such. It’s also “hye” time we do more to support our heritage daily and not merely on April 24. Here are some helpful tips on how to do just that. Enjoy!

A slap in the face has exploded all over the earth and all I could think about was how I could have used a will smith in my life once in a while. Armenian men have been less than valor full for women and the females in the family even a little less than that. There is certainly some honor to what will smith did for his wife Jada, and I’m turning Themis unpopular action on its ear to prove a point. It’s Hollywood people, and it’s their problem, so hear me out when I say we need to pay close attention to the protection of our women.

Lemons have a bad rap as being sour and distasteful but when added ingredients make it tasty we can ditch that old adage and start fresh! We have the tools to make that healthy lemon taste good no matter what and can utilize this method when addressing truths of our lives. Time to switch out the old adage for new!
