April 13, 2023 Around The 412: End of an Era
The Pittsburgh Penguins missed the 2023 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Yes, you read that correctly. Despite getting point per game seasons from Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, the Penguins will be watching from home like the rest of us. Where do they go from here? The Pittsburgh Steelers added and subtracted from their roster, with the NFL Draft just two weeks away, is the picture any clearer? The injury bug has hit the Pittsburgh Pirates hard the last week losing Oneil Cruz, JT Brubaker and Mike Burrows for varying periods of time. Despite their 7-5 start, this dampens the mood for the season. How will they compensate?
