We sit down and take an inside look at This Old House with Kevin O'Connor and talk about how they are transitioning into the next generation of skilled tradespeople that have been a fixture in your home on PBS for nearly 42 years. Have you noticed a few people have faded away into the background? We talk about what some of the veterans are doing now.

We dive into the massive issue of our lack of skilled tradespeople and how long we think it will take to recover from the lack of training in our schools. We also talk about how they deal with new technology that is groundbreaking but doesn’t have a long history to rely on.

Where are they headed for season 42? We will give you a sneak peek of where the crew is headed next.
