  • Annamaria Pinna And Dave Sussman From Vajra Love Is A Battle Field

    Vajra is a progressive

alternative rock band known for their unique and eclectic sound. Drawing
influences from various genres such as rock, metal, alternative, and
Eastern music, they create a distinctive blend that sets them apart.
    Vajra's
music is characterized by a rich tapestry of atmospheric and heavy
instrumentation, layered with haunting melodies and powerful vocals.
They often incorporate intricate guitar work, driving rhythms, and a
strong emphasis on atmospheric textures. The band's music has a dark and
introspective quality, often exploring themes of spirituality,
    consciousness, and personal growth.
    Their
sound is dynamic, ranging from ethereal and hypnotic passages to
intense and explosive moments. The use of unconventional instruments,
such as the Tibetan singing bowls and the Indian tabla, adds a
distinctive Eastern flair to their music. Lead vocalist Annamaria Pinna's vocals are a defining element of Vajra's sound, as her voice seamlessly transitions between angelic and haunting tones, delivering emotionally charged lyrics.
    Overall, Vajra offers
a unique sonic experience, blending various genres and influences into a
captivating and atmospheric sound. To truly appreciate their music, I
would recommend listening to their songs, as words can only provide a
    glimpse into their artistic expression.

  • Stream Thinking Is Thinking Old Fashioned

My granddaughter is nineteen. When I was her age I was already married and working on building a career in broadcasting. It was the year the Berlin Wall fell and President Ronald Reagan and the Pope were shot in public. Every generation has it's own events to think about. What is the Mia's generation thinking about? The answer I received from several her age will shock you.

  • Historical Fiction Author Sharon Cameron Releases Artifice

     Isa

de Smit was raised in the vibrant, glittering world of her parents’
small art gallery in Amsterdam, a hub of beauty, creativity, and
expression, until the Nazi occupation wiped the color from her city’s
palette. The “degenerate” art of the Gallery de Smit is confiscated, the
artists in hiding or deported, her best friend, Truus, fled to join the
shadowy Dutch resistance. And masterpiece by masterpiece, the Nazis are
buying and stealing her country’s heritage, feeding the Third Reich’s
ravenous appetite for culture and art. So when the unpaid taxes threaten
her beloved but empty gallery, Isa decides to make the Nazis pay. She
sells them a fake—a Rembrandt copy drawn by her talented father—a sale
that sets Isa perilously close to the second most hated class of people
in Amsterdam: the collaborators. Isa sells her beautiful forgery to none
other than Hitler himself, and on the way to the auction, discovers
that Truus is part of a resistance ring to smuggle Jewish babies out of
Amsterdam. But Truus cannot save more children without money. A lot of
money. And Isa thinks she knows how to get it. One more forgery, a copy
of an exquisite Vermeer, and the Nazis will pay for the rescue of the
very children they are trying annihilate. To make the sale, though, Isa
will need to learn the art of a master forger, before the children can
be deported, and before she can be outed as a collaborator. And she
finds an unlikely source to help her do it: the young Nazi soldier, a
blackmailer and thief of Dutch art, who now says he wants to desert the
    German army.

    ABOUT TOM WERMAN AND

TURN IT UP!" MY TIME MAKING RECORDS IN THE GLORY DAYS OF ROCK MUSIC

    During his

four-decade career in the recording industry, Tom Werman launched the
success of REO Speedwagon, Ted Nugent, and Cheap Trick, and produced
landmark albums by Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister,
Poison, Jeff Beck, and Blue Öyster Cult among many rock and metal
superstars. Several years after leaving the music business, he was
cruising the web and landed on a pop culture site featuring a scathing
indictment of him as a producer, "a guy with a hard-rock
résumé and a soft-rock mind." Blindsided by being pegged as a dogmatic
musical hack, Werman wrote a rebuttal and then agreed to write a series
on different aspects of a career in recording. He enjoyed the process so
much that he decided to write a book.

In Turn It Up! My Time Making Hit Records in the Glory Days of Rock Music (Jawbone

Press; November 21, 2023), Tom Werman sets the record straight about
his passion for hard-rock music and
his talent for recognizing and nurturing incredible (and sometimes
incredibly difficult) artists-and reveals much more. Werman takes
readers back to the 1970s, when he began his career as A&R man (as
he notes, with apologies, A&R women were rare at the time)
with Epic Records, and through the '80s and '90s, when he built his
reputation and sealed the fame of outstanding rockers as an independent
record producer. Along the way, he shares anecdotes to thrill rock fans
and offers insights into what happens in the
recording studio, the role of the producer, and the essential
    components of a hit recor

  • The Daily Mess Click Bait Designed And Operated

We can see the real world. Is it real? Is it just click bait? Is this generation part of the plan to control what we watch, eat, drink and listen to? If we don't buy into it our social media connections increase the visibility of what need to come next. Can we truly see the real world? How do I put our experiences in writing for future family and friends that'll be here long after I'm gone?

  • Smothered Is Back Catherine And Gabriella Are Set To Win The Beauty Pageant

    sMOTHERED is

back with pairs that are closer than ever. From synchronized hobby
horsing and a mother and daughter who give each other “vagacials,” to
our very first mother-in-law/son-in-law duo who are so close that the
mom is making a mold of her son-in-law's teeth so
they can have identical smiles! For these duos there’s no such thing as
personal space. With stranger rituals, tighter bonds and even greater
drama, these six shockingly smothering relationships will be tested like
    never before.
No one does “twinning” better than pageant queens, Catherine and Gabriella! Always dressed in matching outfits, Catherine and Gabriella have their hearts set on Gabriella winning
the Miss Connecticut USA title just like Catherine did in her early 20’s. With the pageant just weeks away, Catherine and Gabriella go into full prep-mode, doing all they
can to prepare Gabriella for the pageant, while Gabriella's scholarly sisters watch
on and comment on every ridiculous thing that Catherine and Gabriella do.
They drink healing celery juice multiple times daily, soak in celery
    baths together, design matching
wardrobes, work out-including running the bleachers at the local high
school ‘Rocky-style’ and walk like flamingos at the zoo. There’s no room
    for anything else in Gabriella's life;
Catherine wants Gabriella to focus solely on mommy and pageants, that’s it!

  • Wall Street Journalist Zusha Elinson Releases American Gun The History Of The AR 15

    AMERICAN GUN: The

True Story of the AR-15 by Cameron McWhirter and Zusha Elinson is about
the most lethal handheld icon of the 21st century - the AR-15 rifle -
which has become the weapon of choice
for mass shooters. The same gun, under the name M16, was the gun that
was carried by soldiers in Vietnam. Now, that weapon - or even just the
silhouette of its barrel and trigger - has come to symbolize freedom for
millions of Americans and the essence of
evil for millions of others. AMERICAN GUN tells the essential and
extraordinary story of the AR-15 for the first time. Jonathan Eig
writes, "With hard-core reporting and gripping prose. [t]his is social
    history at its finest."

    AMERICAN GUN authors

McWhirter and Elison are both journalists at the Wall Street Journal
who have covered gun culture and the industry, including mass shootings,
for years. They tell the story
in three parts. The first is about an iconoclastic engineer with no
formal training, Eugene Stoner, who came up with the idea for the gun in
his garage workshop in Los Angeles, solving an age-old problem in
weapons design - how to make a lightweight, easy
to fire gun that essentially powers itself. He then, somewhat
heroically, took on the military industrial complex with a small company
and ultimately overcame lies and deceit at the top of the government to
establish this weapon as by far the better option
    for the military.

    The book then moves

to the jungles of Vietnam. It tells another part of the story of the
AR-15 where the government modified the gun, naming it the M16, which
didn't work very well - jamming repeatedly,
costing many lives, and causing a major Congressional investigation.

    In the final part of

the book, the terrifying story of how this weapon that has no use in
hunting became more and more popular in the civilian market, beginning
in the 1970s and accelerating most
recently, is told. We meet upstarts and transgressive gun manufacturers
as well as video game developers who celebrate the A-15's outlaw
mystique in order to promote it. And we see how attempts to ban and
restrict it are foiled again and again, even as mass
    shootings proliferate.

  • The Lyrics From Rainbow Forest Chapter 357 The Rings Of A Tree

I often wonder how truth filled a tree's rings really are. Most of my research points toward how the climate has been measured. Experts say tree growth is very complex, as is it's interaction with the surrounding environment. As a child we'd rush over to a stump to count the rings. I don't see much of that anymore. Tree rings create the paper that which I write upon. I take those words into the studio. The shows I record reach around the world. Tree rings create rings of people.
