  • Play It Forward 607 Rev James Martin Releases Come Forth The Promise Of Jesus's Greatest Miracle

Thank you for being part of the conversation.  This is Play It Forward.  Real people.

    Real stories.  The struggle to
Play It Forward Episode 607 With Reverend James Martin Author Of Come Forth

    COME FORTH combines compelling

analysis of the biblical text, insights about the historical setting of the
story, spiritual lessons for today’s readers, meditations on Lazarus in art and
the larger culture, as well as stories from Martin’s travels through the Holy
Land. As he explores these strands in depth, Martin helps us let go of the
limiting beliefs that prevent us from experiencing God’s presence in our lives.

    Meditatively and carefully, Father

Martin leads us verse by verse, offering profound reflections on Jesus’s
lessons on love, family, sadness, frustration, fear, anger, freedom, and joy.

Come Forth teaches us that we

need only to open ourselves to the transformative story of Lazarus and trust that
God can use it to free us to experience, like Lazarus, new life.

  • De Frag Episode Ninety Four Making Your Past Something You've Passed

Learning how to leave your past in the department of things you have long passed. Being a person who lives in the present isn't an easy walk. But what helps simplify it is knowing your past has been passed. My sister struggled with this. It injured her presence because those around her grew tired of the constant reminder of how things went. Sadly, when you live in the past you tend to rewrite the story. To bend things into better ways to accept the experience. What you've passed is a past. Leave it there.

  • ABC Correspondent Deborah Roberts Releases Lessons Learned And Cherished

    Award-winning

ABC News journalist, Deborah Roberts, curates a collection of essays
and musings from celebrity friends and colleagues alike that share how
teachers changed them, imparted life lessons, and helped them get to
where they are today. Contributors include Oprah Winfrey, Jenna
Bush-Hager, Robin Roberts, Brooke Shields, Octavia Spencer, Rachel Ray,
    Misty Copeland and more.

    Everyone

can name a teacher who had an impact on their life. Educators not only
open our minds to new ideas, but they also help us recognize our
potential and our passions. However, rarely do they get credit for the
life-changing work they do, and often teachers have no idea how their
work can influence a student all the way into adulthood. Everyone

  • The Daily Mess Dropping Our Need To Communicate

You'd think with all these ways to communicate we'd have better connections with family and friends. In years past I spent way too much time trying to keep up with every digital form of communications. I stopped giving away my time. My theory or reasoning is based on a single thought: If I don't have the time how can I give away my time? All of these ways to communicate and we're choosing to be free from it. Burned out by all the talk.

  • London Based Journalist And Author Omid Scobie Releases Endgame Inside The Royal Family

Endgame, the explosive book from longtime royal journalist Omid Scobie

and author of the international blockbuster Finding Freedom, is a
penetrating investigation into the current state of the British
    monarchy-an unpopular king, a power-hungry
heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to
preserve her image, and a prince forced to start a new life after being
    betrayed by his own family.

Queen Elizabeth II's death ruptured the

already-fractured foundations of the House of Windsor-and dismantled the
protective shield around it. With an institution long plagued by
antiquated ideas around race, class and money, the monarchy
and those who prop it up are now exposed and at odds with a rapidly
modernizing world. Relying on his vast experience as a royal reporter
and over a decade of conversations and interviews with current and
former Palace staff, trusted friends of the royals
and even the family members themselves, Scobie pulls back the curtain on an institution in turmoil to show what the monarchy must change in order to survive.

This is the monarchy's endgame. Do they have what it takes to save it?
