You teach us to learn from the moments of stumbles and falls. To be more aware with a willingness to share. For in life, we've all been there...
My mother had a hope chest. Dictionary.com describes it as being a chest that women used to store things in for their future marriage. As a daily writer of 29 years it's been my self agreement to never trap what's been written in a box. Take what you've put on a page and create a conversation. Legendary Alternative Rocker’s Candlebox have released a brand new song “Let Me Down Easy” It’s the first glimpse of new material since their 2016 release Disappearing in Airports.
According to lead singer Kevin Martin the new song is a reflection of the everyday world. He says, “We’re all sinners. Ain’t a saint amongst us, and you can only hope that when your time comes it’s not a struggle, that maybe you might be lucky enough to be forgiven.”
The track was written by Peter Cornell (brother of the late Soundgarden and Audioslave singer/songwriter Chris Cornell)
The music will be featured on Candlebox’s recently completed new full-length (and currently untitled) album. “The band’s priority right now is the health and safety of family, friends and fans.

He's been on Broadway with “Irish Wake and Colin Quinn Long Story Short” And he's been off Broadway with his show “Colin Quinn Unconstitutional.” His web series “Cop Show” can be seen on LSTUDIO.com. His first and last book, “The Coloring Book,” is now out from Grand Central Publishing. Colin can be seen as Amy Schumer’s father in this hit Universal film “Trainwreck.”
A coworker is a solid Southern preacher. He finds every reason to break out in the word. I attend a different kind of church. Same God just different ways to teach the word. According to experts the man is not doing anything wrong by being so open with his verses. As an employee the goal is to stay free of his path. But I don't. Maybe he's practicing and needs a set of ears. Maybe I need to receive during these days of constant change. I know in my heart to not take sides.
