More than 250 million years ago, our planet looked and felt a lot different from how it does now. The seven separate continents we have today hadn't yet taken shape. Instead, there was only one "supercontinent" called Pangaea. This was the beginning of the time of the dinosaurs. Journey from the Triassic to the Jurassic to the Cretaceous to find out how Earth slowly shifted over time, and how the variety of dinosaurs ruling the planet changed too. Discover how some of these creatures took to the land and others to water or air, and what their habitats were like. Explore how these prehistoric lands correspond to current locations and hear from paleontologists about the groundbreaking discoveries they are making in these fossil-rich places today. Experience the Mesozoic world of the dinosaurs as never before.

North Korea is an open-air prison from which there is no escape. Only a handful of men and women have succeeded.
Jihyun Park is one of these rare survivors. Twice she left the land of the 'socialist miracle' to flee famine and dictatorship.
By the age of 29 she had already witnessed a lifetime of suffering. Family members had died of starvation; her brother was beaten nearly to death by soldiers. Even smiling and laughing was discouraged.
The first time she ran, she was forced to abandon her father on his deathbed - crossing the border under a hail of bullets. In China she was sold to a farmer, with whom she had a son, before being denounced and forcibly returned to North Korea.
Six months later guards abandoned her, injured, outside a prison camp. She recovered and returned China to seek her son, now six, before attempting to navigate the long, hard road through the Gobi Desert and into Mongolia.
Clear-eyed and resolute, Jihyun's extraordinary story reveals a Korea far removed from the talk of nuclear weapons and economic sanctions. She remains sanguine despite the hardship. Recalling life's tiny pleasures even at her darkest moments, she manages to instill her tale with incredible grace and humanity.
Beautifully written with South Korean compatriot Seh-lynn Chai, this compelling book offers a stark lesson in determination, and ultimately in the importance of asylum.
Growing up in Bothell (30 minutes from Seattle), Jaeden plays multiple gigs a week at one of the hundreds of wineries near his hometown. Playing guitar and writing songs at just 9, Jaeden wrote a song for a man that went to his family’s church who was dying of cancer. Jaeden sang the song at his funeral and knew he wanted to stay on a path that allowed him to help others with his gift. Several years ago, he wrote a song called “Beautiful.” The song was later recognized by the National Eating Disorder Association in its official outreach series. Jaeden loves that he can use music to bring good to the world, and he hopes he can achieve more of that on “The Voice” stage.

Stepping through what we've been taught to learn from newer levels of teaching as well as receiving...
Our daily television diet includes a healthy dose of watching very old shows. Jack Benny, George Burns and Johnny Carson. Not because that's what old people do. It's a physical calling to go back to the seed. The original fire starters that inspired several layers of generation. To pay close attention to pacing, timing and subject matter. To view the entire show as a fan of entertainment and not someone wanting to get a quick sitcom fix. Going back to the seed.
