Summer may look beautiful with all it's sunlight and adventure but it's very heavy on millions of people's lives and ambitions.

Peace and love. Two emotions so desperately need in a world of constant change and challenge. What we face today should never be compared to other walks and ways. How our parents and grandparents lived isn't one in the same. We've all felt the pressures of shame, guilt, greed, poverty and the true meaning of life.

Sitting down to write isn't an always an easy flow for me when it comes to thoughts and perceptions. Yet my dog Jazzie instantly wakes up. It's because dogs have irregular sleeping patterns getting only 10% REM time or deep sleep. In story two I talk about eating the entire orange including the peeling. I see a lot of reactions from those around me. The outside peel of many fruits and veggies is actually very good for us. Especially watermelon rind.

June 19, 2024   We're all very different when it comes to where we place our minds.  Music serves as a free ride back to a past that we choose to visit or live in.  I've spent several decades learning how to be strong as well as aware of my place in the right now.  And being mindfully grateful for the gift.  Yet, there are times when the music and old TV shows replant me on Ryan Ave in Billings, Montana.  Reflecting isn't living in one’s past.  It's completely ok to stop in for a visit but to stay too long can have a negative impact.
