We are supposed to be living a life of being in the present, yet I chuckle over the thought of how religious leaders teach from a book filled with all things from the past. They are words and stories that strengthen our faith and give us hope while creating stronger relationships. Creating the right path while learning from our past.

We are here in this present place of now. Which can be unimportant to those invested in their past or deep into the future unwritten. Which can be tough to chew. We are never walking without receiving. It should never go unseen and disrespected. We can't be beggar's and choosers. The concentration should be placed on the acceptance of today's greatest gift.

I don't remember my parents talking about how much of my teen year music was part of their younger adventures. just by different artists. It continues today with Luke Combs Fast Cars and Shaboozie with Tipsy. The greatest thing you can do is step back and watch how the newer generations are reacting to the same vibes you once sang in the bathroom mirror. Listen to the new stuff. Music is meant for all people and yes for the older men and women it may actually suck. You'll be fine.

It's so important to belong to a circle of love, peace, forgiveness and passion. It's the physical act of learning how to be guided through each. Should we always plan for a victory or settle with these words, "There I did it." Life feels so much like Mike Rowe doing another dirty job. Except we aren't filming it. We've got to stop doubting and pouting and realize life is the adventure. One step at a time.
