Arrogance is the #1 enemy of most Christians. It’s having an exaggerated opinion of one’s self, importance, and merits. Arrogance is being self-absorbed. ”A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor” (Prov 29:23). Humility is the opposite of arrogance. Humility = teachability. You have to learn how to handle authority whether it is fair or not. Life isn’t fair. Get on with it! Authority orientation is key to being well-adjusted in life.
