Welcome back to another blog, everyone!  Very grateful and also fascinated that many of my students have problems with these two particular verbs.  Do & Make, two verbs that are often confused, will be broken down in today's podcast and blog.

Use DO for actions, obligations, and repetitive tasks. Use MAKE for creating or producing something, and for actions you choose to do.

Super, super, SUPER ecstatic about this international guest speaker coming on.  This has to be probably the most compelling because my teacher friends, by the name of Janine, is from a tiny central American country.  However, she went to one of the biggest (by land mass) countries on the globe.  Not only that, but it's a country I'm so fascinated with.  Guys, here's a special treat for you!

Yes! A lot of my students have asked this question, so here it is, along with some sentences for you to repeat out loud.  This exercise will enable you to take out the unnecessary, second-to-last consonant, which is impossible to say. Let's go over it.

Use some of these phrases below when offering advice to others.  Some are followed by the -ing form of the verb.

• I suggest going to Siam Paragon.
• How about getting a new dog to take care of?
• I'd recommend reading Paulo Coehlo's The Alchemist.

Others are followed by an infinitive.

One idea is to volunteer at a daycare center.

It might be a good idea to eat things that will help you emotionally everyday.
