So, the first time I heard about quantifiers and determiners while speaking, I asked myself, "what the hell do these even mean?" After reading over them, it was pretty easy....but never knew about the label. So this is the what they are: we use quantifiers before nouns or pronouns to express how much.Podcast on FM - https://player.fm/series/2288534Podcast on TuneIn - https://tunein.com/podcasts/Language-Learning-Podcasts/Arsenios-ESL-p1117391/Podcast on ListenNote - https://www.listennotes.com/c/778cf3cfd2564ba5b01f693bfebc96de/arsenio-s-esl-podcast/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Arseniobuck/ESL Podcast on Castbox - https://castbox.fm/channel/Arsenio's-ESL-Podcast-id1251433?country=usYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIzp4EdbJVMhhSnq_0u4ntAWebsite - https://thearseniobuckshow.com/Q & A - [email protected] - https://www.linkedin.com/in/arsenio-buck-9692a6119/Support the show

Word families are groups of words that relate to each other and form a "family." If you know one word, you can guess the meaning of other words. Songkran, which is a Thai holiday (New Years), has transformed into a world phenomenon over the years. The majority of millennials flock in herds to some of the most "popping" (obtaining a lot of energy) areas such as Khao San Rd, Silom, and other places scattered across Bangkok to enjoy the New Years in a wet n' soak war with strangers. However, over the past decade, Songkran has developed a bad rap, mainly because the amount of people who are killed on the road by drunk drivers. In addition, there are lots of sexual harassments suits that are filed at police stations, women pleading that they were groped in large crowds. Nonetheless, aside from the imminent (things that are likely to happen), Songkran, which goes without saying, is still the most incredible celebration I've endured in my life time. For people who travel, or are traveling soon to a foreigner country, knowing the basics in terms of asking for information and speaking on the phone is critical. Here in Thailand, I've seen Chinese people walk into 7-11 speaking their language. Do you think anyone outside of China will known Chinese, especially Thailand? This is why English is universal and should be obligatory in all schools worldwide. However, some countries are scared, like Dubai/South Korea, and chose to ban learning English from primary schools. One of the reasons were because western ideas, and the other was simply because they were afraid children would lose their mother tongue. Regardless if you believe it's right or wrong, communication is important in every country. Anytime there's a breakdown, tensions rise and things, mostly conflicts, can happen. So, here's a way to show a personality on the phone and just dealing with people in general. Let's say this is a combination of developing a pleasing personality and learning expressions.Podcast on FM - https://player.fm/series/2288534Podcast on TuneIn - https://tunein.com/podcasts/Language-Learning-Podcasts/Arsenios-ESL-p1117391/Podcast on ListenNote - https://www.listennotes.com/c/778cf3cfd2564ba5b01f693bfebc96de/arsenio-s-esl-podcast/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Arseniobuck/ESL Podcast on Castbox - https://castbox.fm/channel/Arsenio's-ESL-Podcast-id1251433?country=usYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIzp4EdbJVMhhSnq_0u4ntAWebsite - https://thearseniobuckshow.com/Q & A - [email protected] - https://www.linkedin.com/in/arsenio-buck-9692a6119/Support the show

This is my official rebrand.
My journey as a TOEFL iBT coach has come to a powerful close, and with it, the era of TOEFL-focused podcasts. What began as a mission to help students pass…
Welcome to the next chapter: High Performance Coaching.
This journey didn’t begin today. It began on January 3rd, 2016, when I made a decision that would forever change the trajectory of my life. Immersing myself in Napoleon Hill’s Law of Success, Jack Canfield’s Success Principles, and Lisa Nichols’ Abundance Now, I found the mindset and tools that helped me rise above the vehement and relentless racial discrimination I faced in this country. Those challenges did not break me — they built me.
In 2017, I made one of the most courageous decisions of my life: I walked away from a toxic job at New Education World in Future Park Rangsit. That leap of faith led to the creation of this very podcast on March 27th, 2018.
From ESL beginnings to TOEFL iTP episodes in 2019, and eventually into the TOEFL iBT space, what followed was an unbelievable 5.5-year journey. I built my own online business from the ground up and helped propel hundreds — perhaps even thousands — of students toward success. Watching others achieve their dreams became one of the greatest honors of my life.
But growth demands evolution.
As the TOEFL episodes began to slow, something remarkable happened — my coaching episodes surged. More listeners tuned in. More lives were impacted. The message was clear: this is where I am meant to go next.
High performance is no longer just something I teach — it is the life I live.
Later this year, I will take another major step forward by earning my license from Burke and Isobel in South Africa to become a licensed transformation coach. Soon after, I will continue my expansion through the High Performance Coaching program with Brendon Burchard.
Because this mission is not about helping someone pass a test.
It’s about helping people redesign their lives.
It’s about resilience, courage, reinvention, and stepping into the person you were always meant to become.
And now — you are stepping into this new phase with me.
At some point, there will be programs and products designed to accelerate your growth. But first, I am committed to becoming the very best transformation coach I can possibly be — because you deserve nothing less.
If you feel called to grow…
If you are ready to challenge your limits…
If you know you are meant for more…
You are in the right place.
Leave a like, subscribe, send fan mail, and even consider supporting the podcast — and most importantly, embark with me on this unbelievable journey.
This is only the beginning.
