Excited to share this profoundly inspiring and mind blowing conversation about all things money with Garrett Gunderson of Wealth Factory. I’ve been noticing all sorts of synergies between our work and I knew this first conversation would be something everyone would like to listen to — AND here it is!
Garrett tackles a topic (money and finance) that is critically important, yet normally neglected by most business owners (mostly due to the painfully boring presenters in this field and an antiquated philosophy of accumulation which is typically harmful advice for entrepreneurs).
As an entrepreneur, financial advocate, the Founder of Wealth Factory (WealthFactory.com) and author of multiple WSJ bestselling books, including the NY Times bestselling book Killing Sacred Cows, Garrett has dedicated his career to demystifying complex topics like business and money; bringing forth passion and humor with immediately actionable insights and strategies.
He has appeared on the television shows ABC’s Good Money, Your World with Neil Cavuto on Fox, CNBC’s Squawk on the Street (although he was kicked off), well over a thousand radio interviews, hundreds of podcasts, plus his firm was named to the Inc. 500.
His mission is to liberate 1 million people so they can live a life they love and build a legacy that lasts. Effectively changing their family’s financial future and destiny.

Always fun to speak with my friend Joan Sotkin – she’s a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to finding her own pathway through life and money. Joan has been studying prosperity for much of her life, directly and indirectly. Her depth of understanding of what it takes to create a life that is 100% your own is second to none and for that reason I always learn a lot about myself when we speak. My hope is that you will do the same as you listen to our conversation about money, sovereignity, and freedom.

Excited to share this conversation with the women of Womaze. Womaze is a woman focused APP for your phone that inspires you in all sorts of ways — to explore who you are, what you love and how to live your life to the fullest. During our conversation we dive into how the business got started and what happened when three sisters and their mom decided that it was time to follow their passion and create something BIG in the world.
Being a mom myself, this conversation inspired me to think about parenthood and how we help our children follow their hearts and souls in their life journey. Thinking this will bring up many thoughts and ideas about your role as a parent and how you can bring your ideas into fruition. You’ll also learn about this wonderful app and how it can help you sort through the maze of information to find what brings you the most joy.
From the Womaze website:
It all started with our mom, Corin, who has a background in mental health counseling and a Masters degree in Education, and is the author of Matters of the Heart: A Guide to Living and Loving Your Teen Years. She made it her life’s mission to raise empowered women who have a deep sense of self-worth. Now, her three daughters share that same commitment to empowering the next generation of women.
As young women ourselves (Becca and Leah are 21-year-old twins and Hannah is 17), we’ve grown up in the age of social media. We know what it feels like to spend hours mindlessly scrolling, to be stuck in a comparison spiral, and to feel the ongoing pressure to look and be “perfect.” Womaze helps to counteract the often negative effects of social media: it’s designed to provide practical tools for navigating life.

Today’s conversation is with Niall Gannon and we are talking about the landscape of wealth and what it really means to fully embrace a wealthy life. According to Niall, the meaning of wealthy has become one of the least understood concepts of our time. Explaining that whether you desire wealth or not the roadmaps to success have been painted over by outdated financial models, politically charged rhetoric and at the core of wealth, it is simply a number. Having worked with high net worth individuals for much of his career, Niall brings a unique perspective to this conversation.
Niall J. Gannon is a Private Wealth Advisor to ultra-high-net-worth investors and lead member of the Gannon Group. He has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 100 Financial Advisors by Barron’s and Registered Rep. He is the author of Tailored Wealth Management: Exploring the Cause and Effect of Financial Success (Palgrave Macmillan; 2019) and Investing Strategies for the High Net-Worth Investor: Maximize Returns on Taxable Portfolios (McGraw-Hill, 2009). In 2018 he published The Efficient Valuation Hypothesis in Seeking Alpha. Niall has appeared on CNBC & National Public Radio and been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Barron’s. His research has been featured or quoted in ten books and academic articles by other authors. Niall has addressed the CFA Institute, Institute for Private Investors, Portfolio Management Institute, Family Office Exchange and Tiger 21.
