This Tuesday happened to fall on September 11th. My sincere condolences for the families of the victims of 9/11. I hope that we will continue to remember what we lost. 

Why not? There are no recorded downsides to journaling! It does sometimes take work, so it can be a bit tricky to maintain a habit of recording your thoughts and ideas, but man is it rewarding, and HELLA important to a creative lifestyle. Today I talk about the benefits of journaling, why you should start with a cheaper notebook, and ideas for some journaling challenges to start the back-to-school autumnal month of September!

And one of the best ways of telling stories is dramatic writing. Today on the show we have Matthew Sowell, an award-winning playwright of politcal theatre. I've had the awesome experiance of being involved in two of his plays called "Igominious" and "Spin". SO how do we still fullfill our creative side while working through the monotony? Do we focus on work and delay the play for later, or find a way to blend them together? Today on the show I talk about How having fun can actually IMPROVE your productivity, and the importance of Play as a state of mind. Writing a novel can be daunting, but it's not impossible.
