Welcome to episode number 5!  In this episode, we will explore street photography which is one of the most challenging, but at the same time one of the most rewarding types of photography.  I had the pleasure to sit down with one of the master of this genres, Michael Kistler.  Michael is a Hong Kong artist specializing in fine art urban photography and photography education. Originally from Minneapolis, he lived in Tokyo for 10 years before moving to Hong Kong in 2014. A signature element in his work is the often abstract human element and its connection to the city; the urban landscape and its structures provide permanence while people come and go, creating a dynamic environment of fleeting moments. So what exactly we talked about? We tried to understand what is fine street photography and how to develop an eye to capture the right moment in the right place at the right time. We also talked about his cool project - how to mix photography with fashion and graffiti. This time, I had the pleasure to talk with the incredibly talented artist Ernest Chang.

Just imagine that for more than a year you are working full time on a project and once the project is ready, you give it away to some strangers without any control what they will do with it and even encourage them to destroy it.

That’s what Ernest did with his entire collection called Tear and Consume and we'll discover the mission behind it and also what the strangers actually did with this destructive power in this episode. So if you are curious, stay with me!

We will also talk about how Ernest art is devoted to his community and we will discuss how the acceptance of the community brought him to the higher state of accepting himself as a person and as an artist.

Catch the rising star Nicoline Aagesen. If you don't know yet Nicoline’s art, she is a very talented artist, focused mostly on fashion photography "where fantasy, turned into reality".

If I have to choose 3 words to describe her work, it would be freedom, passion, and sexuality. While Nicoline’s art can be a bit controversial, she has been widely recognized and I look forward to seeing her exhibitions all over the world.
