Artillery Podcast (Blue Jackets NHL)

The Jackets are BACK! We shared our season predictions.

This is our first podcast since the tragic loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, we shared our thoughts. Pre-season hockey is underway, potential lines have been released, we shared our takeaways on that. We wrapped things up with answering your questions on social media.

Kent Johnson got things going with getting new contracts. After that, Marchenko got his deal. Laine is out of the NHL Assistance Program, other teams can now talk to him which means a trade could happen soon. We debuted a new game called "Top 3 Bottom 3" and then wrapped things up with answering your questions from X!

The Jackets finally found a new coach, they hired former Minnesota Wild head coach, Dean Evason. The Jackets still need to re-sign a few players, one of those is Marchenko - will a deal get done and what is the term? Also, KJ and Silly need deals, what do these deals look like? Will Laine be a Jacket next season? We discussed the options.

Another week has come and gone and the Blue Jackets have yet to name a new head coach - their top candidate may have hit a dead end. Nationwide Arena needs renovations, including a new jumbotron. Christiansen signed a new deal, only two more players in arbitration that need signed -- Greaves and Marchenko.

Oh my, lots of hockey talk recently. Jackets have a new play by play, welcome to Columbus Steve Mears. Sean Monahan is a Jacket, we talked about the importance of that. Jack Johnson, yes that Jack Johnson, is a Blue Jacket again. We talked about all the Jackets that are no longer Jackets. There's a bunch of pending RFA's, hopefully Waddell locks them down. Cayden Lindstrom is a Jacket, when will we see him on the ice?

The Artillery Podcast is brought to you by High Bank Distillery.

Pascal Vincent is no longer our head coach. Bob got his cup. Chinakhov gets his bridge deal. Laine hasn't been traded yet. Coaching search is underway.

The Jackets have a new GM, also he's our new President. The Jackets and Laine have agreed to split ways. We played CBJeopardy, it was rough but we made it through it.

Hello there, we're back! After taking a few weeks off to enjoy our summer we're back with a new episode! After catching up, we dove into the Jackets GM search and talked about the NHL draft order that was unveiled a few weeks ago. Plus, MUCH MORE!

Who has the best toes on the team? It's a question we all want to know. At the beginning of the season, we gave our predictions and we went back in time and discovered how wrong we were. We wrapped up the episode with the CBJ Awards Banquet.
