"It's Love - not Santa Claus". Boy Meets Girl and things go awry. Classic. 500 Days of Summer is a humorous look at a Hopeless Romantic. It's got heavy moments easily offset by the laughs provided along with great opportunities for reflection. It's Painful but Palatable. It asks us to examine the characters and who is really at fault while we also examine ourselves because undoubtedly we identify with certain characters at certain moments. It's divisive yet super fun. "You can't assign cosmic significance to an everyday life event." Or can you?  *Slight spoilers*. (REVIEW - WEEK 5, YEAR 5)

An original and unique film about finding friendships and one's self through perseverance in creativity. An indie-style film that is humorous in how it presents a young man moving through past trauma through innocent eyes.
