I love Birdman. Art about Art. Entertaining while presenting existential questions about Ego, Authenticity, and what it means to Be. Basically, a washed up superhero actor has a midlife crisis and wants to prove to others he's a real artist so he directs, stars in, and writes his own adaptation of a play and hits Broadway. This meta film is presented with care and yet was subject to last minute changes constantly to serve the story. A true masterpiece in film as an Artform. *Spoilers*. (REVIEW - WEEK 3, YEAR 5)
