From uncontrollable external factors to gatekeepers with their own agenda, we bump into some difficult circumstances in the creative process. This week, we talk about some of those unexpected moments and what to do when we encounter them.
Does the creative process sometimes feel overwhelming? This week, we talk about how to embrace joy in the creative process and keep it going.
Every artist has a public image. That’s what it means to have an audience. This week, we help you think through being intentional about that image. We don’t tell you what to look like, but we give you tools to help you create what’s authentic to you.
There are some things that a lot of us creative people worry about… money, audience response, the quality of our work. When we recognize that some of these things are just always going to be true, we can release some of that worry and get to making great art!

How narrow is your definition of artistic success? There is so much variety in what we do. And there is a lot of variety in what comes of the things we make. And that’s okay. As we continue to explore how to develop healthy creative rhythms, this week, we talk about success.
Creative people are dreamers. We’re always thinking about “what if” and “some day.” But sometimes those dreams are so big, they seem unachievable. This week, we talk about how to get started and keep going until that dream is a reality.
How we work will affect a lot of things about the process of creating. When we focus in, it helps us enjoy the work more, and it helps the people around us enjoy it more too.
This week, we get a little personal… Cole and Adam tell stories of failure and the lessons we learned along the way.
Failure is part of the creative process. Every artist at every stage of their career faces failure — small and large. The important thing is how we learn to respond.
No need to “fake it til you make it.” No need for “imposter syndrome.” Confidence isn’t about knowing it all or getting it all right. Confidence is about building the belief that you can navigate the challenges and come out on the other side a-okay.
