This week on the podcast is part two of our interview with Jauvon Gilliam. He's a musician with a portfolio career comprised of 3 demanding jobs. His day job is as the Principal Timpanist of the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington DC, but he's also the Director of Percussion Studies at the University of Maryland, and the owner of Capitol Percussion and Backline Rentals--a thriving backline company in the greater Washington DC region that has recently opened a multi-studio rehearsal facility. Much of our interview will focus on his backline company, and how Jauvon handles a variety of business activities from bookkeeping, to branding, to contracts, inventory, and more. Tune in for information any arts entrepreneur can apply to their situation.
