We were honored to have Maria join the show and take us through her journey as a Mexican-American professional soccer player! She discussed her difficult first stint in the NWSL and explained how a return to Mexico gave her perspective that has allowed her to thrive this time around with the Houston Dash. Maria also told us about her off-the-field interests, including her already fulfilled dream of paying off her parents' mortgage and unreasonable competitive drive while playing the FIFA video game.
