Katy Irizarry is the 60th chapter of this ever growing story. Katy has an incredible music industry resume including her current gig as the producer of the Eddie Trunk Podcast.

Katy is the former host of the podcast Box Talk and has worked all over the music industry including SiriusXM, Metal Edge and Eagle Rock. She announces her new gig with Freeman Promotions and listen to who she'll be working with! We discuss medicinal weed, accents and hockey, being an emt, and we get a little deeper with a hard discussion of women exploitation in the workplace. Good stuff and Katy is the perfect person to make you think about a tough topic. I'm proud to have stumbled my way into such a tough discussion.

BONUS FRODUS!!! Jason gosh-darned Hamacher is so funny he doesn't fit into one podcast. So...here it is. The official "Team Bum-Out" story. Chris and Greg of Dillinger Escape Plan added to Jason's mischievious ways and this is one the funniest story I've ever heard. Then, there's the legendary prank phone call to G Gordon Liddy live on his show? But wait...how you gonna top that? Ok. How about almost getting gunned down at Jesus' tomb? I do this because I love you. Take care. Bye-bye.

Oh my God. I thought I'd have to tape up my ribs. Jason Hamacher of Frodus is about as unique as they come. Drummer of Frodus, Regents, Zealot (and about a dozen other bands you've heard of) joins me and guest host Seth W for TWO podcasts! This is the first of the two. I tried to make this one wrap up but Jason...is Jason. Story after story after story made me so thankful I didn't hit the stop button. Hamacher talks Frodus, his land breaking and nothing short of historic relationship with Syria, we get heavy Christian theology, the super touching story of Jason's life from 1999-2003 that changed all the directions, massaging Ben from Dillinger Escape Plan...just hang on. It was just too good for one podcast.

                                                Happy Easter, you!

Sam West, drummer of Stavesacre joins the story with his story. This guy is a drumming hero of mine. Scaterd Few "Sin Disease" and "JawboneOfAnAss". Are you kidding me? Sam tells us about his family and how he is surrounded by musicians. Sam tells us about Stavesacres' upcoming album and producing it with the great Paul Figueroa. He covers his timeline, auditioning for the band AMEN, kid stories, how he came into Scaterd Few and how grumpy Omar was at the audition. Sam tells us about subbing for the Supertones, Plankeye, Audio Adrenaline, legal issues with recording Jawbone, first Saviour Machine show which led from their drummer not showing up. Seriously?

We get Sam's introduction to the film industry through our hero Matt Kitchens which led to his day job on The Real. Then for some reason I tell a story about a Violent Femmes show...not sure why I felt compelled to tell that story. I get to tell Sam that I used his "Speakeasy" drumset on my band's new ep. It'll be out VERY soon...like next week. There's a link below to a Johnny Cash cover off our upcoming EP "Paroles De Fue".

Plus the podcast debut of Nick Dinitto. You're gonna dir from the cuteness.
