What do we do when someone we love is taken from us far too soon?

This special episode is the funeral message preached for Bexlei Good, whose remarkable twenty years left an impact far greater than their length. It is a message about grief without pretending, faith without easy answers, and the promise that holds us when our own grip on God feels weak.

Drawing from John 11 and Jesus’ words, “I am the resurrection and the life,” we consider a Savior who meets us in our tears, welcomes our anger and questions, and gives us something greater than explanations: his presence and his promise.

Like a sunflower facing east through the darkness, Christians keep looking toward the sunrise. Because Jesus walked out of his tomb, another morning is coming. Cancer will not have the last word. The grave will not have the last word. Jesus will.

And his word is life.
