Bree and Ash wrap up their first trip to Florida feeling great about the information that they have gathered. Ash starts contacting others who are going to be important people to speak with through the investigation.   

After leaving, Bree gets a call from Buddy which reveals some new and interesting information.  

Annie and Bree then receive an email from Chris. The letter seems like he is letting off some frustration on what is going on with the videos and with us questioning those around him. The letter also goes into significant detail about the day on the boat. Chris also give a lot of other information throughout the letter that can be fact checked. The team is relieved to have received this letter. They had been wanting an account of the accident from Chris, but had been unable to get Chris to respond to the email sent to him.

Join Ash and her team down in Florida as they look further into what happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld. 

Bree who is Carolyn's daughter joins Ash on the investigation. Together they are looking into the mysterious death.  

The team is hoping to fly under the radar while in Florida, but Chris quickly finds out they are in town and they have to discuss the complications of this information leaking out.   

Annie, Ash's mom joins her and Bree on this leg of the investigation. Although Annie is not an official part of the team, she comes down to Florida to see what the women have uncovered and to get a feel for where the investigation stands.   The three continue speaking with Buddy about his feeling in regards to the death of Carolyn and the the mystery surrounding it.

Ash and her crew finish up their trip to Tennessee by saying goodbye to Danielle, Chris's 2nd wife.  After Bree and Ash leave they attempt to figure out the timeline in a more official capacity.  

A surprising photograph helps them understand the timeline better and they attempt to understand its meaning within the timeline.    

Ash and Bree sit down with Carolyn's 2nd husband Mike whom Carolyn was married to for eleven years.  They learn about who Carolyn was before she entered Bree's life.    

Finally the crew heads over to meet with the lead investigator Faris to see if there is additional information and to see what the status of the case currently is.

Ashes to Ash True Crime - What Happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld - Ep 5 "Mind Games"  

Join Ash and Bree for Season 2 of the Ashes to Ash true crime series "What Happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld."    

In episode 5 "Mind Games" of this eye opening series Ash Patino and Bree head to Tennessee to meet with Danielle, Chris's 2nd wife.  While in town they get more information about their relationship and what ended it.  As they comb through an old photo album, they make a stunning realization that alters the timeline that had been put in place.    

Ash also heads to Wisconsin to attempt to meet with a woman who Chris bought a house with only  100 days after Carolyn passed away.  Ash is able to locate the house and attempt to make contact with this unnamed woman.

Ash starts really delving into the initial information on this case in Episode 4 of Season 2 "What Happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld?"  

She starts with some of the activities that occurred in the months preceding Carolyn's death.  Three to four months after Carolyn passed away, Chris bought a house 4 states away from where he was currently residing.  The purchase of this home coincided with a woman that he was rumored to know even before he went into the Coast Guard.  Ash starts the process of finding this home, getting the closing details, and heading to the property to see if this mysterious woman still lives in this home.    

Ash also starts communicating with Chris's 2nd wife Danielle.  Ash learns about their past together and some of the strange and unexplainable occurrences that took place.  Ash and Bree meet up in Tennessee to meet face to face with Danielle and to look through old documents and photos.

Ash really starts digging into some of the preliminary information that she has received on the Carolyn Blankenfeld case.  

First she speaks to Bree about getting Carolyn's death certificate.  The two patiently wait to review the findings.    After they receive the certificate they attempt to reach out to the medical examiner who signed off on the death certificate.  Instead of finding a bridge to help get them additional information, they find themselves standing in a possible corruption case against the medical examiner.    

Ash and Bree also start hunting down Chris's past wives to see if there is any correlation between what happened to Carolyn and what happened to them.    The pair soon start up a dialogue with one of the women and some interesting information comes to light.

Want to know what happened to 57 year old Carolyn Blankenfeld?  

Carolyn and her husband Christopher Blankenfeld went out on a Mother's Day Pontoon ride into the shallow Perdido Bay.  

Two gentleman sitting down to grab a bite, notice a pontoon coming towards the dock, but it appears to be a ghost ship.  The yell and soon realize there are no humans on board and instead just 3 dogs.  

Later that day one of the boaters finally comes out of the water, but what happened to Carolyn?

Ashes to Ash TV - "What Happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld" - Episode 1 - "Uneasy"  

Welcome to Season 2 of Ashes to Ash TV online series, "What happened to Carolyn Blankenfeld."  In this episode Ash hears about a case involving her own family.  Her aunt Carolyn Blankenfeld has been discovered deceased after going on a boat ride with her husband Christopher Blankenfeld.    Something about Chris's story does not add up and Ash teams up with Christopher's daughter Bree to dig in and see where the truth lies.    

Ash speaks to Bree in length to find out what concerns she has about her step mother's death.  After speaking with her, she reaches out to Carolyn's best friend, to see if the same concerns are shared by him.  Ash agrees that there are some inconsistencies with this case and agrees to look into it further.
