They tried the same process with corn, and created what we know today as Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. Then a man named Ferdinand Schumacher, a German immigrant, started German Mills American Oatmeal Company Schumacher adopted the Quaker symbol, which was the first registered trademark for a breakfast cereal. then in 1898 Charles W. It has been discovered that during this period, ancient Egyptians made a version of pies called ‘galettes,’ which were rustic free-form pies, made from oats, wheat, rye, and barley. The crust was filled with honey and the galettes were then baked over hot coals. Then by the  1700s, American women cemented the tradition of serving pies with every meal and thus the pie became an important part of American cuisine and culture.  Banana Cream Pies became famous in the 1950's  In a 1951 survey conducted by the United States Armed Services, banana cream pie was ranked the soldier's favorite dessert!

Others dog biscuits help keep teeth healthy and fresh.  and like many inventions...it was accidental.  though dog-bread had been around for ages...A butcher in England in the 1800s was trying a new recipe for biscuits that turned out to be terrible. He gave one to his dog who loved it.  Dog biscuits were introduced to the world in 1860 by James Pratt who was electrical and lighting rod salesman from Ohio who had traveled to england and seen the biscuits...brought them back to the states and today you might see dog bakeries like 3 dog bakery.  Those are an outgrowth of the dog biscuit industry
