Assorted Crates

Another trip around the sun for me, another trip to good vibes and tunes in this week’s Assorted Crates 192.

In the famous words of The Notorious, “Birthday’s used to be the worst days.” We are here now and better for it. I’m thankful to have seen some many lives. Birthdays are an interesting period in time for reflection, a new year within a new year. I’m thankful I’ve made it this far with the support I have. Let me get back to task here, before I get sentimental.

This bumper mix here has a lot of me in the selection of songs. It also helps that it’s filled with bangers across many genres and eras. Where ever you are, I hope you vibe and enjoy this one. Assorted Crates is LIVE, now on Apple Podcasts and Soundcloud.

Welcome to October, kicking off the festivities with the pulse of life. Assorted Crates 191 is here to get you moving.

With the summer kicking in, it’s good to take in the fresh air around, sip on something cool, and have good people around you. All of that would be perfect accompaniment for this mix, a blend of some afro, piano and house sounds.

Starting the countdown to episode 200, I’m closing down September with some tunes to bounce to.

I’ve changed up the artwork in the rundown to my 200th mix, that should drop sometime in December. It’s been quite the road, but that’s a story for another time. For this week, I’m sharing the set I recorded while playing at Origin earlier in September. I don’t often get a chance to play more electronic music, so it’s a refreshing change of pace. You’ll hear some familiar edits and remixes, some of my favourite classics, and some fresh cuts. I hope you enjoy

We back up and entering Libra season in style. Assorted Crates 189 filled to the brim with party tunes for this Friday.

I was supposed to release this last week. Unfortunately, I had some technical issues and had to reinstall my Windows, and all my programs. Crisis averted I say. I have some trap and hip hop to get you bouncing this weekend, some new tunes, some throwback tunes you probably haven’t heard in a while too.

It’s officially spring, and we are stepping into the good times with Assorted Crates 187.

Spring is a time for renewal, for good vibes, to get outside and get some fresh air. I’m happy to see that the outside is opening for those afraid of the cold winter months of past. Where ever you are, I hope you’re feeling the spring energy. Today’s mix should help you get into that mood. I’ve curated a selection of some throwback tunes, some 90’s-00’s RnB, Hip Hop. Enjoy yourself, you deserve it.

Stepping into the final Friday of August with episode 186, nothing but good vibes right here.

I am quite surprised by my own consistency, in bringing out one of these for each week this month. It feels good being back in my pocket. Enough about me, I’m here to let the good times, and good vibes flow. I’ve got my usual mash-up of RnB, Hip Hop, and Afrobeats lined up today. Some throwback tunes you probably haven’t heard in sometime. Assorted Crates is LIVE, now on Apple Podcasts and Soundcloud. I hope it gets you moving, and let me know if you vibe with it. In celebration of the 50 years of Hip Hop, I’ve curated a mix with some throwbacks of note, and some future classics.

Hip Hop as a genre speaks truth to power. It can lift spirits, and it can get things lit as the kids would say. My aim today, was to put something people can bop to. A little dance and funk, showcase the evolution of that sound. I’ve thrown in some Run DMC, Kendrick Lamar, Missy Elliott, and more. I hope you enjoy this where ever you find yourself.

It’s another Friday, and another week is done. Time to relax with this week’s edition of Assorted Crates.

I’ve taken a trip down memory lane, and put together some sweet house tunes this week. For those of you who know me before the change to Loudima.Dreamer, you’ll know that house music is my first love. It’s always nice to share the vibe from time to time. I hope you enjoy this where ever you find yourself

Is it really a Friday without new Assorted Crates? Mix 183 is up and ready to take you into the weekend.

My aim with all of this is to bring something different to the table each week, and I’ve got something a little more laid back than I usually do. It may just be the mix the aliens listen to when they have their coming out party, and everyone is getting their drinks. Either way, do enjoy the mix
