In 2011, Penn State University became the center of the college football universe...and for unthinkable reasons. Former coach Jerry Sandusky was taken to court and ultimately convicted on 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

Legendary coach Joe Paterno saw his Nittany Lion legacy vanish overnight and the football program was nearly destroyed.
