The Bettor's Box is back! BangTheBook Radio's MLB Betting Podcast with host Adam Burke fired up a new season on Friday with the first edition for this year. Adam talked about a lot of baseball betting tips and strategies by using sabermetrics and by breaking down some of the stats, trends, and angles that he uses in his own handicapping.
Adam discussed Spring Training stats and which ones matter and which ones don't. He talked about resources that listeners need to use in order to have success and also talked about some line moves from Thursday's card. We wrapped up this week on BangTheBook Radio with a couple of markets that we haven't talked a lot about recently. With everybody immersed in March Madness, it's easy to lose sight of the fact that Opening Day is less than a week away and that the NBA is still going on. Host Adam Burke talked baseball with Bryan Leonard from WagerTalk.com, as the guys discussed the importance of doing research and why fantasy baseball can be a big help. They talked about some season win total positions as well.
Philip Rossman-Reich from Orlando Magic Daily joined us to chat some NBA. The guys focused on tanking teams to talk about which teams are tanking and which teams are simply bad. They also discussed some good betting angles for listeners based on those teams. The Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavs are the front-runners in the Eastern Conference, but they'll have to beat other opponents before facing each other. Who do these teams don't want to see come playoff time?

More technical difficulties from BlogTalkRadio came into play on Wednesday, so we had a bit of a shortened show, but still lots of great information. Host Adam Burke was joined by professional bettor Wes Reynolds for a breakdown of the left side of the bracket for the Sweet 16 and two golf events, with one going on right now and one starting up tomorrow. The guys talked about Kansas State vs. Kentucky, Loyola-Chicago vs. Nevada, Florida State vs. Gonzaga, and Michigan vs. Texas A&M on the college basketball side and also explored a few futures.
The WGC-Dell Match Play has already started and the Corales Championship starts tomorrow, so the guys had a lot of golf things to discuss. They talked about different betting strategies to the Match Play event and also looked at Tony Romo and some props about his performance for the event coming up in Punta Cana.

The first full day of March Madness action was certainly exciting, so let’s do it all again today. Host Adam Burke recorded a short 20-minute morning update for those getting set to enjoy the chaos, as he looked at Friday’s card, talked about some of yesterday’s angles and tips, and looked ahead to the first Round of 32 matchups.
Adam looked at the card to check out some of the line movements and talk about what we’ve seen thus far. Using the market as a guide can be such a big help, as we noticed yesterday. We also saw several games fall in between numbers or right near the total. Adam had a few thoughts on that, along with some live betting and derivative tips that he picked up on and will look to carry over into today. He also previewed some of the second round matchups coming up on Saturday.
