The first voted-in request from the forums. It was a close one between this and Death Cab for Cutie. This is a great song and it has way too much guitar for my mouth. And the drums? Please. The guy goes way too crazy for me to memorize. This is where all that mouth drum training comes in.

NNF is one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. It’s put on by Jimmy Pardo with comedian Mike Schmidt and Matt Bellknap from aspecialthing.com.

This one was a request from the photographer/all-things-media of Switchfoot for the Switchfoot podcast.

Here is yet, another contest - this time from Asthmatic Kitty. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this song and it’s really growing on me (especially after listening to it 50 times tonight).

This song came as a result of our making fun of the opening keyboard vocals while in the garage practicing for a gig.

I’m pretty proud of this one - I think I’m getting the hang of this new mic and my new iMac can really handle a lot of tracks going at once - not to mention the big screen - being able to hold all of the tracks on screen at the same time is a big help.

One of my favorite podcasts - The Sound of Young America. This is their theme song. I emailed the host, just to tip him to my music and he requested a cover of his song to use in the show. The only problem was that he was at work when I emailed him and so he didn’t know that I wasn’t a traditional acapella group. Well, to be nice, he posted it on his site and gave me a little blog post. Thanks Jesse.

This was a request from the message board. Or, at least, I think it was. Someone definitely requested a Wolf Parade song. Just not sure if it was this one.

I’m still not even sure if that’s the correct name of the song.

I think this was the third song I finished. I went on a rampage after Decatur and did like 4 songs in a row (1 per night). It was so much fun and refreshing to find something that I actually kept on with.

We’ll see how long that lasts.

My first ironic song. I promised myself that I would never do this because I would become what I was making fun of.

I did this song on purpose. The guy that runs the label is always sending out emails so I decided to do this song and send it off to him. Well, the band loved it and posted me on their myspace.
