Some men wear a beard. And of course there are almost infinite variations of these beards. Depending on the fashion, these beards look different. Some say a beard is a sign of masculinity. Others say insecure men hide their true face behind it. Either way, a beard is also a non-verbal signal. A man expresses something, sends a message with it. What about you in terms of non-verbal communication? Is it a big part of the way you communicate with your environment? Does it do any good or does it tend to lead to misunderstandings? Are you perhaps partly hiding behind it in order not to have to address things directly? Why don't you pay attention today to the way you communicate in all the different situations? And also how others do the same with you. At the end of the day, can you perhaps draw a conclusion about where you want to change and communicate more clearly?
I wish you an extraordinary day!
As a teenager, I had an aquarium at home for a while. It wasn't big and I didn't have any expensive fish. The effort for cleaning and maintenance was not small either. Nevertheless: something became visible in the aquarium that I didn't get to see elsewhere in my life: The insight into a small part of the underwater world. There were beautiful and fascinating things - for example, how the fish move - but also not so nice things: when fish died and lay dead in the water or they attacked each other. If you find yourself in a situation today where a part of your subconscious suddenly comes to the surface, into the visible realm, then look at it and do not turn away. Even if it is unpleasant, it is there whether you want to see it or not. Therefore, if you look, you can also change it for the better! Take your chance today!

These days, we hear about hurricanes and tropical storms. These can cause great destruction and claim human lives with enormous force. They are caused by the deflecting force of the earth's rotation. There, a swirling of the air masses around a centre of rotation is set in motion, from which the typical eye of the storm later develops. The strongest winds and thus the greatest destruction are at the edge of the eye, that is the centre, which often has a diameter of several kilometres. In the eye, the wind is lowest and thus you are safest there. If you come into an earthbound stormy situation today, so to speak, I encourage you to really face it and not run away. In the eye, in facing the issue, it is possibly safest for you, analogous to the storm, and distance from it can perhaps be much more destructive than you anticipate. Have courage today to face your storm!

A house usually has windows. So do a caravan, tent or cabin, etc. The window helps to let daylight into the interior and thus make things visible inside, so that you don't trip or bump into things. But the window also serves to let you see from the inside, from the protected environment to the outside. Hildegard von Bingen, a German mystic, abbess and natural scientist said that the eyes are the windows of the soul. So what goes in through them influences the perception inside and also what goes out through them influences the outside or our behaviour. If we have clear windows, it is all the brighter inside us, if our soul windows are dirty, we do not really see things as they are and behave accordingly in a distorted way. I encourage you today to pay attention to how you look at your environment, how you see it - are your eyes clear or stained in certain places? What can you do and how do you do it in order to have the cleanest possible windows, i.e. eyes?

Depending on the conditions and the type of grain, an ear of corn carries about 40 grains. This means that a grain that produces an ear has a multiplication of about a factor of 40. What a number! When I think about the fact that money in the bank is currently yielding almost no interest at all, this fertility of creation is tremendous. It means not only that so much can be produced, but also that even if one grain alone fulfils its potential, about 39 others do not have to - and yet in the end the yield and the investment would still be balanced. How encouraging! Encouraging in the sense of being able to try without the fear that everything will quickly be used up if one attempt fails. You are also a part of this creation, like the grain that produces the ear of corn, and so I encourage you for today that you may also try out, pursue ideas and be courageous and trust that even if 39 attempts fail, one successful one is enough to still keep the balance positive! I am sure that this law also applies to investments in relationships...

Dominoes, as you know, have two parts, each with a point field. The aim of the game, as far as I know, is to line up the dominoes in such a way that neighbouring or adjoining dominoes always have exactly the point pattern of their adjacent domino. I think we humans also have at least two sides: the one on the outside and the one on the inside, and somewhere we long for it and also need a certain harmony, agreement with the adjacent environment with which we are in contact. We don't always find the perfect matching token for us in every situation, but we notice when it doesn't fit. I encourage you today to look for this harmony and balance both externally and internally. Allow your need for it and if you can't reach it through a suitable counterpart, stand by it, endure it and don't fall into the temptation - to stay with the domino - to place a similar but not suitable token next to yours. Rather wait for the right one.

In most cases, a train or tram runs today because it is connected by a pantograph to the overhead line, which carries the high voltage and thus allows the required energy to flow. Others run on fuel such as diesel. The former are totally dependent on the energy output of the overhead line, but in that sense can run so to speak indefinitely as long as this connection is intact. The latter are independent because they have their own tank. But they only run as long as they have energy supply. Transferred to our lives: are you more the independent, but in the end left to your own strength and resources? Or do you live from a higher source, from whose close relationship you can go infinitely far and from which you can draw your strength? For this day I wish you in any case the necessary driving force and a constant good energy supply - regardless of what you have to carry through the day today.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
We know the saying, "If your only tool is a hammer, all the world looks like a nail." The meaning is obvious: if we only know one way to deal with certain situations, in our perception all situations are the same and we always behave the same way. But that is not always good. If you find yourself in a situation today that causes you stress because you know it and you know that you will not feel well afterwards: try a different approach than you are used to, i.e. use a different tool. Then you may no longer be dealing with a nail, but with a slab of wood to be ground, so to speak - which perhaps requires sensitivity and evenness instead of strength of words (as with a hammer). And so the outcome of the situation can be quite different and hopefully more pleasant for you and for everyone - without you getting a wood splinter while sanding.

Let's be honest - man or woman. Most of us had a favourite plushie or something similar in childhood. It was dear and precious to us and accompanied us for many years and felt as if it was actually alive. Maybe you still have yours or have even passed it on to your own children or a next generation. Maybe you feel embarrassed about that now... Either way, I think the example shows us how much we are very emotional beings, despite our heavily westernised cognitive way of life. In other words, needy beings who need not only food and external protection, but also very, very much good relationships. Daily. Relationships characterised by strong trust, loyalty, openness and reliability. I wish you that you may experience such relationships today and the support, strength and blessing they give you. And I wish you that they are real people and not stuffed animals. And hopefully you can be for someone else such a source of strength today.
I wish you an extraordinary day!
As I was walking through the neighbourhood the other day, I noticed 2 pushcarts or trolleys that are used for the early delivery of newspapers and advertising material. I thought of people going through the neighbourhood and delivering information to the households. Most people are still asleep at that time. I was moved by this service that the deliverers do. So I also see my life as an impressive working system: while I sleep, my body recovers, many processes are active that I neither know about nor perceive, but which enable me to get up in the morning refreshed and mostly healthy and to go about my day. The fact that my body, my life functions so well at all and that I actually have to take care of so little when I look at it as a entire system, so that my body-and-soul-system functions, makes me wonder, humble, reverent and enormously grateful. I hope you too.
