Rogue Valley is an Americana band with a healthy respect for the near spiritual presence of beauty in the natural world. Their ethereal, slow-burning love songs are inspired by the Pacific Coastal region for which they are named. The resulting sound is one that’s based in roots instrumentation, pacing, and chord structures but that maintains a distinctly modern presence.

It’s the cornerstone of Valley Queen’s dynamic alt-indie-country and the prime reason that every track is not just heard, but felt. It's easy to imagine them busking in the street during those early days; plotting the songs they would write once the means allowed. The impact of this former life remains as an assurance to listeners that no matter what instruments they add, Busman's Holiday is fundamentally focused on writing good songs.
