  • Trump Approval Hits 34% as Economic Rating Reaches New Low

    With five weeks until Election Day in the midterms, the latest Quinnipiac University national poll shows President Donald Trump's approval rating at 34%. Sixty-one percent of registered voters disapprove of his performance, while approval on the economy hit a new low of 31%. Additionally, registered voters favor Democrats over Republicans for House control by a 12-point margin.

  • Student Loan Autopay Deadline Extended to Dec. 31

    The Education Department has extended the federal student loan autopay enrollment deadline from Sept. 30 to Dec. 31. Eligible borrowers can receive a temporary 1-percentage-point interest rate reduction through June 30, 2028, while the separate SAVE repayment transition deadline remains unchanged.
