Learning Styles. Lots has been written about these and you’ve probably read more than a few articles about them.
For teachers, learning styles of their students is critical for the success of their students. Same goes for parents and their children.
In this first episode of two parts, Karen Tui Boyes shares nine ideas for how you can help your student, or child, do better in school – ideas that align with their personal preferences for learning.
Guest: Karen Tui Boyes
Karen is a former teacher and now an international speaker based in New Zealand. But her love for teaching has never waned. She provides presentations for educators, study skills for students and helps businesses achieve corporate success. In 2019 she was named New Zealand’s Speaker of the Year.

I was very lucky to interview the Hartlett brothers Adam and Hamish just before this year's SANFL season kicked off, we had some technical issues which delayed posting up the video but thankfully we got it sorted in the end.
We spoke about the ups and downs of Hamish's 193 game AFL career at Port Adelaide Football Club and what it's like to be back where it all started at the West Adelaide Football Club again.
We also had a bit of banter between the brothers, discussed Adam's footy career as well and found out some of the funny team mates that the boys have played with throughout their footy careers.
Thanks so much to the Hartlett boys for their time, for Jeff Richardson for helping with editing the video, Matt Pill for filming and our partner Anytime Fitness Glenelg for their continued support.

Last year's Collingwood FC Best & Fairest winner, Jack Crisp joins us on the show this week to discuss his career to date in the AFL and season 2022 at the Pies. Jack's story of coming into the AFL is unique and given his incredible form since joining Collingwood in 2014, it's hard to believe he was not a top 10 pick as he has finished in the top 10 for the Copeland trophy every year since joining. Jack is a family man off the field and loves gaming which we laugh about our contrasting lives despite both being 28 years old. Hope you enjoy and hit subscribe xx

I really enjoyed chatting with one of the tough men of football, 1987 Carlton Blues premiership player David Rhys-Jones on Sports Legends with Bevo.
We spoke about why it was so tough playing in the brutal 80's, some of his funny team mates and the famous Battle of Britain exhibition match with North Melbourne that quickly became somewhat of a bloodbath.
His son Cooper has a rare condition called Prader-Willi Syndrome and Rhys has organised a 15 for 15 challenge to raise money for this very important charity.
If you want to donate or find out more go to the David Rhys-Jones Facebook page.
Thanks so much to Rhys for his time, to D'Arcy Evans for helping arrange the interview, to PodBooth for putting this great video together and our sponsor Anytime Fitness.

At times its hard to understand that the three of us are best mates given all the debate and arguments we share, however, we all share a passion on football in this country and how we believe some key areas of change could support the growth of our game and the A-League overall. Fahid Ben Khalfallah and Rashid Mahazi have seen it all in this country and we speak candidly on the game today and where we would like to see it go!!

The Four Temperaments. Almost sounds like a popular Motown group from the 60’s doesn’t it? It’s a actually a proto-psychological theory the Greek physician Hippocrates to describe personality types.
Melancholic personalities are precise, conscientious, and cautious. They make good surgeons.
Phlegmatic personalities are steady and supportive. Calm and unflappable in a crisis
Sanguine personalities are influential and inspiring. They bring personality to the table.
And Choleric personalities are the people who make things happen. Leaders. Sometimes very dominant.
In this episode Kate looks at the four Temperaments and describes how sometimes they can even overlap,
Here's the personality quiz Kate mentions

In by far one of the loosest ever interviews I've done, nothing was off limits as stand-up comedian Jarryd Goundrey and I talked about his time in the military and some of the characters he met along the way and how it started his comedy career off plus much more.
He's selling out shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and doing shows around Australia this year. Follow his Instagram to find out more.
Thanks so much to Jarryd for his time and to the team at Podbooth for putting this great video together.
