That's why I am so excited to bring you this chat with Dr David Tian, an anaesthesia registrar from Westmead Hospital about his time in Antarctica.

We chat how he got there, what life was like and the challenges of returning to civilization.

Dr McKenzie is an Emergency Physician who sadly lost his son to anaphylaxis. In this challenging conversation we discuss the events of that day, how he came to be the Team Leader of the resuscitation and some of the amazing work that he is doing now.

Working in critical care, it's hard not to be affected by this episode.
