Codependency is so common in today’s world that we think it is normal to feel responsible for everyone else’s feelings. We think our needs and wants should be put last after everyone else’s. We become so intertwined with others that we lose sight of who we are. We become disconnected from our authentic self because we are fearful of others not accepting us. We are scared of what other people will think of us. We betray and neglect ourselves. Guess what?? Codependency is a conditioning we learn from childhood. Guess what else?? We can unlearn that conditioning and relearn new patterns to heal the relationship with ourselves and, in turn, with others.
