Following this weekend's game, the Oregon Ducks will not get a much-needed bye week after playing games against California's elite defense, Colorado's offense, The Washington Huskies on the road, against Washington State, and now this weekend's road game at USC. The Ducks get just that and will have the weekend off before playing their second-to-last game at home.
The Oregon Ducks are off to their first 5-0 start in Pac-12 play since the 2013 season and No. 7 Oregon takes on the USC Trojans this weekend for a Saturday night showdown in the LA Memorial Coliseum.
The Ducks have won four of the last six meetings against the USC Trojans but haven't placed USC since the 2016 season, which was a game played at USC. For the second straight week, the Oregon Ducks had a thrilling come from behind victory against a rival in the Pac-12 North. Saturday night inside Autzen Stadium the No. 11 ranked Ducks saw an 11-point lead evaporate and eventually found themselves trailing by one with 53 seconds to play in the game.
The Ducks won the football game 37-35 after freshman Camden Lewis made his third field goal of the game, this one coming from 26 yards as time expired. The Oregon Ducks are off to their first 4-0 start in Pac-12 play since the 2013 season and the No. 11 ranked Ducks return to Autzen Stadium Saturday night against a north division rival that has won four straight against the Ducks. Oregon rides a six-game win streak going into the game and are looking to snap a four-game losing streak against the Cougars. The Ducks are an impressive 29-9 all-time at home in Pac-12 action since the 2011 season, but two of those nine losses have come against the Cougars.
Oregon is also the first school in the Pac-12 since Stanford in 2017 to open the season 4-0 in conference play, and they have won nine of their last 10 games dating back to last season.
The Ducks and the Cougars will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
