On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting Reporter Max Torres sits down with Rian Winter (A.K.A. SportsChat503) for an entertaining chat about Oregon recruiting and football ahead of the 2026 college football season.
Starting off Max discusses some of the latest recruiting developments in the 2027 class for Oregon. Max discusses two of his top candidates for playing early upon starting their college careers in Eugene.
Oregon has one of the top hauls at wide receiver after landing 5-star Xavier Sabb last week as well as athlete Tae Walden Jr., who could wind up playing wide receiver for the Ducks.
The 2027 class is nearly wrapped up with the Ducks only waiting on remaining decisions from linebacker Brayton Feister and defensive lineman Brayden Parks.
Max and Rian also discuss some other players they're excited about from the 2026 class including Anthony 'Tank' Jones and a few others. Other topics discussed include some of Oregon's top games on the schedule, expectations for this season and so much more!

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting Reporter Max Torres breaks down the commitment of Rivals Industry 5-star Glassboro (NJ) wide receiver Xavier Sabb. Sabb picked Oregon over schools like LSU, Tennessee and UCLA and ranks No. 32 nationally, the No. 5 wide receiver and the No. 2 prospect in New Jersey according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
Sabb is the third true wide receiver to commit to the Ducks in the 2027 class, as Ross Douglas shows that he can go and recruit with just about anyone. Oregon continues to grow their recruiting presence in the Northeast and add some of the best offensive talent each and every recruiting cycle.
Oregon is finished at wide receiver in the 2027 cycle and will now move on to top 2028 wide receiver targets, many of which have already made it out to Eugene for an initial visit.

July 01, 2026 QUAAACK: Tae Walden Jr. and Hayden Stepp Commit to Oregon | Ducks Climb to No. 4
On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting reporter Max Torres dives into a HUGE Wednesday on the recruiting trail as Oregon picked up commitments from ATH Tae Walden Jr. and cornerback Hayden Stepp.
Oregon hung on to hold off a late charge from Georgia for Walden and added another elite defensive back out West in Stepp. The Ducks are likely finished with secondary recruiting for the 2027 class and have just a handful of targets remaining ahead of the start of the 2026 college football season.
Dan Lanning and company climb to the No. 4 class in the country according to Rivals, climbing five spots in a single day, up from No. 9 nationally.
Wednesday's recruiting wins show the emphasis the Ducks have placed on recruiting elite wide receivers and defensive backs in the Dan Lanning era and the recruiting pedigree of Chris Hampton, Rashad Wadood, Ross Douglas and the rest of the staff.
Max breaks down what's next on defense for Oregon as they reclaim their spot in the top-five of the national rankings.

Guerrant was Ross Douglas' top wide receiver target in the 2027 class as Douglas continues to prove that he's one of the top recruits on Oregon's staff. June 03, 2026 QUAAACK: Toa Satele Commits to Oregon | Ducks Land Top-100 Linebacker
On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3 Oregon Football and Recruiting Reporter Max Torres breaks down the commitment of 2027 Mililani (HI) linebacker Toa Satele.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Satele was on campus in Eugene over the weekend for his Oregon official visit. The trip must've gone well because he decided to move up his commitment timeline and commit to Dan Lanning and the Ducks over Texas, Notre Dame and Cal, the three other teams that rounded out his top group.
Satele is the 14th overall commitment for Oregon in the 2027 cycle and the second linebacker as he joins Brandon Lockley Jr. from Philadelphia. Oregon's Hawaii pipeline is flourishing and the Ducks add a key piece of their class as they continue to track for a top-five haul once again.
Max also looks at what and who's next at linebacker following Wednesday's big commitment.
