Football is finally in the air again out in Eugene! Head coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks will hold their sixth practice of fall camp on Tuesday as they prepare to open the season against Montana State on August 30. The Ducks are in a big transition year under Lanning, as they usher in a new wave of young talent that will be tasked with replacing an exodus of starters from the 2024 squad that won the Big Ten.

Oregon's 2026 recruiting class continues to climb the national rankings, as the Ducks now sit at No. 3 following the commitment of 4-star Oaks Christian (Calif.) cornerback Davon Benjamin. Benjamin picked the Ducks from a top group that also included Michigan, Texas, North Carolina and Washington. He's the fourth defensive back to commit to Chris Hampton and Rashad Wadood this cycle, likely putting a bow on the secondary haul.

Saturday is an important day on the recruiting trail for Dan Lanning and Oregon Football. After landing 5-star edge rusher Tank Jones on Thursday, two more 4-star targets are set to make their announcements. 4-star Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill defensive lineman Deuce Geralds will choose from LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Oregon. 4-star Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian cornerback Davon Benjamin will choose from Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

4-star San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln EDGE Prince Tavizon committed to Oregon in June. On Tuesday he announced his plans to reclassify from the 2027 class to the 2026 class. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound defender was already one of the best prospects in California and his addition to the 2026 class should give Oregon's haul a nice surge in talent. However, the Ducks remain in pursuit of a few other top defensive line prospects that they'd love to add before pen meets paper in December.

Oregon landed a big commitment from 2026 Honolulu (HI) Farrington interior offensive lineman Koloi Keli on Monday.
