An "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Podcast
For the "City of Walls and Secrets" we welcome back guest-host Jaimee Rindy, because Shawn is tired of losing discussions to Chris without aid (or someone else to act as a distraction to such conversations). Regardless, this episode is a lot of fun and perfect 'cast for which to welcome a third opinion.
Also, we get sidetracked a bit into other Nickelodeon shows, fantasy football, tea intake, and popcorn... So I hope you have eclectic tastes.

An "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Podcast
Book 2: Earth, Episodes 32-33 "The Serpent's Pass" & "The Drill"
In this pair of episodes, cumulatively aired and titled "Journey to Ba Sing Se" (or maybe "Secrets of the Fire Nation"), the gang misses out on the ferry and is forced to cross the perilous Serpent's Pass (episode 32), then has to turn a massive Fire Nation war machine - the Drill - away from the walls of Ba Sing Se (episode 33). Also, we have "news" (sort of) about the Netflix live-action series, and can't help but squeeze in some discussion about Batman, Fantasy Football, and the percentage of people who do or don't hate Jet.

In this pair of episodes, cumulatively aired and titled "The Fury of Aang," we're taken on a roller coaster of emotions encompassing each and every member of Team Avatar at their most candid. Come hang out while we talk Book 2: Earth, Ep. 30 "The Library", and Ep. 31 " The Desert."

This week we discuss Book 2: Earth, Episode 9 (29) "Bitter Work," which is a very apt title given the rigors Aang and Zuko have to endure. But it's not all bad; this episode has some deep lessons and charming comedy, too! As a bonus, we discuss a recent interview given by Aaron Ehasz, and give our thoughts on what could've been and how much we may (or may not) have enjoyed it.

This week's episode is very special. We're reviewing the brand new novel, "Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Rise Of Kyoshi" by F.C. Yee. It was created with some guidance from Avatar co-creator Michael DiMartino as a highly anticipated extension of the Avatar universe, and it works insanely well. This episode is loaded with spoilers, so watch/listen at your own risk!

This week, in what should have been something exciting and new (going live for the first time!) we tried our best to rescue this episode from the treachery of internet issues and video call quality. In between breakups in signal, we discuss a Toph we don't love, alternate uses for flying bison fur, Chris's very insightful latest videos, and eventually "The Chase." (Book 2: Earth, Ep 29)

This week the gang welcomes self-proclaimed Zuko expert Jaimee Rindy to the show for an extremely unique episode of both the Avatar: The Last Podcasters series and the TV show itself, "Suko Alone." (Book 2: Earth, Ep 27)
We also discuss our preferred earthbending styles, Chris' philanthropic works, Twilight, the placement of Zuko's character arch among TV's greatest, some last-second outtakes (unintentionally) and, naturally, John Mulaney.

It's been a few weeks (Shawn accepts all the blame), but Avatar: The Last Podcasters are back to answer all of life's most important questions. Who would win in a fight between Toph and Bumi? Who is the Blind Bandit? Is the Boulder better as Mick Foley than the Rock may have been? Would metal bending have been discovered had Toph's parents acted differently? DID NINTENDO JUST HAVE THE GREATEST E3/DIRECT PRESS CONFERENCE EVER?! Find out when we talk Book 2: Earth, Episode 26 "The Blind Bandit."
Also, thank you all for your kind compliments and support; we do this for our own amusement, but having someone(s) tell us we've brought them any type of joy is a great feeling. Also, sorry for Shawn's scratchy throat.

This week is beautiful. We touch on the new Batman, John Mulaney (again), fans' psychology toward dynasties in professional sports... Heck, we even spare some time to cover Book 2: Earth episodes 4 and 5, "The Swamp," and "Avatar Day."
This week is everything you want in an episode of Avatar: The Last Podcasters. We talk about Static Shock, Game of Thrones, Endgame, how people react to spoilers, Detective Pikachu, hideous Sonic the Hedgehog... Oh, and Book 2: Earth, Episode 3 "Return to Omashu."
