PsychSessions: Conversations about Teaching N' Stuff

AW003: At Work: Dr. Stefanie Johnson

Listen Later

In this episode, we talk to Dr. Stefanie Johnson, associate professor in the business school at CU Boulder. Dr. Johnson shares some of her memorable experiences presenting at the Whitehouse and we end up talking about her work regarding the sexual harassment of women in the workplace, which leads to a discussion about how current events (like the #metoo movement and arrest of Harvey Weinstein) not only inform our research but change it too. We also touch on the notion that the pandemic is one of the biggest catalysts for change in the workplace since the industrial revolution and what that means for college students getting ready to enter the workforce.
