In this Awake: Not Woke miniseries, we are exploring the esoteric and conspirituality themes in the show Avatar The Last Airbender. This show, although made for kids, is packed full with spiritual, political, cultural, and so much other commentary and symbolism. We are tip toeing down the line of controversy in this episode of Awake: Not Woke Podcast and discussing the misunderstandings that occur between two schools of thought that we often touch on. One group generally consists of "Christians." "Conservatives" and "Conspiracy Theorists" while the other often consists of "New Agers," "Spiritualists" and all around "Woo Woo" people. We have found that between these two groups, there exists a lot of confusion and misguidance on certain topics, and we decided to address those up front.

We are all part of long term romantic partnerships, so that is where our conversation tends to dwell, but these concepts can be applied to any individual in any relationship, whether platonic, business, romantic, or any other. We touch on so many great points and ideas from awakened & non-toxic gender roles to Romeo & Juliet metaphors. This discussion was prompted by our conversation in episode 23 about the shape shifting race of lizard people that is popular with conspiracy theorists and paranormal lovers. We dive down the rabbit hole of cloning and especially human clones and what it could mean if this has been done successfully. We mainly focus on a company called Clonaid; this company was founded by a man who now goes by His Holiness Rael, and is the leader of the religious organization/cult called Raelism. To help broaden this conversation we start with a super brief history on cloning animals, when it started and how it is done, before diving into the craziness that is human cloning and what that means into todays society and pop culture.

This episode was intended to be an exhaustive account on lizard people. That is not quite what we end up with but it is interesting none the less. From aliens, to DUMBs, vrills, to the book The Host, and everything in between, the lizard people/reptilians rabbit hole leads to many other discussions on many other topics. Popularized by David Icke, many think this theory is bonkers. However, this topic contains a lot of interesting and intriguing truth and implications. We even touch on the part of our brain that scientists often refer to as our "Lizard Brain" which influences many of our instinctual and primal behaviors.
